Memories (1/10)
"Dress your bright smile, dear"
Man do you ever think about how many places Zuko has broken into? Like
The Western Air Temple (twice), which was canonically built so that it could only be reached with airbending
(It’s also implied he broke into the other three too)
The Northern Water Tribe, whose defenses hadn’t been breeched in 100 years and was also currently under siege
Pohuai stronghold, which was on high red alert after capturing the fucking Avatar
Avatar Roku’s temple, mostly notable because he broke through a naval blockade to get there (dude wtf)
Lake Laogi, the secret underground headquarters of Ba Sing Se’s evil secret police that is also crawling with Earth benders
(Ba Sing Se at large doesn’t count since they forged their papers)
The Fire Nation capital’s prison, where the main threat to the Fire Lord’s rule (Iroh) was imprisoned for months
His own family’s vacation home (this isn’t an achievement I just thought it was funny)
A thousand+ year old sacred site dedicated the first firebenders that was also full of booby traps, Indiana Jones style, because why not
The Boiling Rock, the highest security prison in the Fire Nation
The headquarters of the Southern Raiders, an elite naval force on an island in the middle of nowhere
The Fire Nation’s royal palace, which was admittedly mostly empty at the time but still had Azula in it
His own family’s vacation home (again) after getting banished (again)
he’s…a rogue. How did I not realize that he’s a rogue. Who happens to firebend.
One of my favorite things about zuko is he thinks of himself as a failure for not being a firebending prodigy, but is actually INCREDIBLY competent (even prodigious!) At almost everything else
EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS OPEN! 🚨
Hi everyone! About 9 months ago me and my partner took on my mum's cat as she was unable to care for him anymore, he's 15 years old and has become an important member of our family and household. Unfortunately he's come with some dental issues, which we have booked surgery for him to get fixed. He has surgery this week, but it's going to cost us £800. So, I've opened some emergency PAY WHAT YOU WANT COMMISIONS which is available on my Ko-Fi page .
Please take a look if you want to help out, or share this if you can. Reblogs are very appreciated, and every penny counts!
Please check the #myart tag on my page to see examples of my art, or take a look on my Ko-Fi.

every once in a while I remember that there are people who came to AO3 from video game fandoms, where they were set up to think "rated E for everyone" - except on AO3 it's

ms paint study from 2021
I’m sorry MS PAINT????
Do you think Clark Kent's first few major articles were about the continued presence of lead pipes in parts of Metropolis' water system
(Average Metropolis reader after investigative reporter C. Kent's 452nd article on yet another case of landlords/business owners/factories' continued use of lead pipes/paint/gas/glass knowingly exposing the public to dangerously toxic lead levels) what the fuck happened to this guy
One day Bruce Wayne mentions in an interview that heroes like Superman are overrated, as the most effective way to reduce crime is to provide public resources and improve local infrastructure, then cites how neighboring city Metropolis has effectively lowered their violent crime by 13% after addressing their outdated water system and investing low income housing. the reporter conducting the interview suddenly starts looking a little uncomfortable
To be clear, Clark is still a fantastic investigative reporter. He still has to track down the sources to prove all this shit
"Who, Clark Kent? Yeah, we're pretty sure he's a Meta. Is he a superhero? Like what, "Lead-detector guy"? "Captain pipes?" Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy and it's a handy trick, but it's lead detection, not laser vision. He's not about to go running around in tights any time soon."
I just love the idea of a cape maintaining their secret identity by pretending to be a completely different and less impressive kind of parahuman.
everyone assumes that kent is so squirrely around superheros because he’s just desperately hoping not to be conscripted to the JLA to fix their plumbing
Local Metropolis Reporter Publically Recognized For Contributions To The City; Awarded Medal Of Distinction
They tried to get superman to present the medal but he was offended at being called "overrated" in comparison to Clark so he declined
Counter offer: Bruce Wayne disguised as Superman
