So yeah I’ll be doing another livestream event. Color pictures and crap, same deal as usual. Probably experimenting again. So here is the dealio:

Also There is gonna be tons of 80s and 90s tunes- I have a huge playlist for the event. It’s gonna be very nostalgic and totally awesome.

Rules:

Limit: Two images per customer. Paypal only, in USD. I will not be accepting payments or making arrangements or promising slots prior to the event. You need to pop into the channel to make arrangements when and after I start the stream. I will only take a certain number of slots on the first day, and after my que is filled, it’s filled for the weekend. (I don’t wanna injure myself!) Any pieces of art I do not finish the first day, will go into the over-flow of the following day. Art will be created as soon as possible and emailed to the client as soon as it’s finished.

Death of a dream

“Fuck!”

She promptly let loose with a stream of profanities, as if the previous wasn’t enough, to make any in her vicinity raise their brows.  The light grey eyes turned stormy as she surveyed the ruin of vines before her.

“Fuck!” again and a stomp of her foot delivered a minimal amount of satisfaction.

A rueful glance, glare really, at the now empty chest at her feet and then a quick scan through her datacron, fingers swiping the pages with almost maniacal speed…benefit of an almost perfect memory…or curse in this case. She knew there was nothing in the tombs ensconced in the pixels that came close to what they faced on Nexus…namely soil.  She had tried everything, adding ash, irrigation, shade, sun, burying the seeds deeper, closer to the surface…everything dammit.  And now ruin stared her in the…well boots truthfully.

A slender hand shoved through the tangled mop of waves, now streaked with lighter shades of gold from the sun, tousling them more if that were possible. Soon she’d resemble a scrub brush if she kept it up. She nibbled on a nail absently as she stared blankly at the destruction of her family’s dream, the vines shriveled and bent as the hopes they once represented.  Broodingly her gaze transferred to her small garden of plants for her potions, which mockingly thrived in what Nexus termed soil.

A tiny secret part of her actually rejoiced…if she were completely honest…and that allowed even more guilt to creep in. The dream had been part of her family for several generations, to watch it die, due to her…inability grated and struck a nerve in the prideful young woman.  Everything her family worked for, protected…died for…lay in dust before her.  And yet…she felt free…relief even. No longer were she and Merser held to an aspiration they didn’t choose. Not to mention the town was rather stocked on alcohol…people might think its residents were drunkards or something!

But now what?

Well…to start…digging.

So I recently have been asking a bunch of questions on lore to Pappy/Chad Moore over on twitter, the resident lore God of Wildstar. I thought I’d share them here too for those of you that may find these bits relevant for RP and understanding the game world.

I’ve received a lot of letters from artists asking to check out their artwork and their blog, and I’ve noticed that a lot of them openly write unhealthy amounts of negative comments about their artwork, it was super depressing, honestly.  :( Confidence plays a very very important role as an artist, it’s what helps us learn and grow without the constant feeling of doubt and jealousy!  You are a unique individual who must go down your own unique path, and as scary as it sounds, you can’t rely on others to hold your hand all the way through.  You are the only one who can get yourself to where you need to go, and beating up your artwork is not the way!  Trust yourself and your abilities to make a change, and you can do anything!! Love your art, love yourself!

100 Roleplay Scenarios!

Here’s How It Works!

You and your RP group elect one RPer to roll the 100-sided dice. If you can’t decide, just go in alphabetical order of your tumblr roleplay blog usernames. Don’t worry, everyone will get a turn. (If you change your name to get ahead, you will be skipped over until the next time they get to your name. No excuses. Fair is fair).

 Rolling the dice is easy: you go to this site, select “100” from the drop down list for number of sides, “1” for number of dice to roll and “1” for number of rolls. You are only allowed to roll once.

Whatever number comes up, you look up the corresponding number on the scenario list above and figure out a way for your character to instigate it or introduce it. Be creative. Many of these scenarios are left open-ended and vague so the interpretation is entirely up to you.

Watch the scenario unfold.

Repeat once everyone gets bored/or when you want to heighten the stakes. Make sure you’re communicating with your RP group via OCC chat.
