Rotting Dragon
A painting of a nightmare I had recently.
In the dream, my partner and I were following the narrow paths in a dirty hallway with deep pools of water. In the deep water were the bodies of horses, bones and remaining flesh bleached white. We could hear a distant scream behind us that was slowly growing closer.
Order of the Tender Apple Slice I've received a handful of commissions to draw people's pets as monks but this is definitely my favorite one so far

I love these for many of the same reasons I have always loved Leo and Diane Dillon’s work. There are enough stylistic similarities that I wonder if maybe there was some influence or cross pollination going on there? These definitely have their own separate attractions but I’m so curious to know if there’s also some connection.
