#i voted no but I feel I should clarify #I have never tried because I faint most of the time when I get blood taken out of me #so I assume that disqualifies me #I'd always feel so bad at high school blood drives #because ppl would be asking me if I planned to donate and I always had to tell them I likely can't #because needle in my arm makes me meet the floor

I like finding out what people my age and older had as their first cell phone. Anybody younger and their answer is a generic Android or iPhone. Phones from the 2000s were some wacky device like the sidekick or samsung x83 or lg env2

My first phone was a nokia 1112 in 2008

#my first was a $30 flip phone with minutes that I had to buy cards for #I don't know the brand at all but I bought it with 5 months' worth of allowance ($7 a month)#so I didn't have minutes very often #my most memorable phone was the lg mint chocolate #I spilled soda on it on halloween and killed the battery. It'd only last a few hours (vs the 3 days it used to last)#it absolutely sucked and when I had to change phones I missed that one #also I didn't get a phone with any sort of internet connection until I was around 19 to 20 #I had “dumb” phones until then #even tho phones with internet connection and apps had existed for a long while by then. maybe since middle school for me??#I'm not sure exactly #I was excited to be able to play angry birds #I got a samsung tablet when I was in high school and played the shit outta jetpack joyride
