A Highschool AU with Lotor and Allura

AU where Lotor and Allura attend the same high school. Teenage Lotor becomes obsessed with Allura purely because she embodies everything he wishes he was. He hates his skin, his eyes, his fangs, his claws, everything that marks him as Galran, as not fully Altean. He feels guilty because he hates her while also wanting to be closer to her and he can't distinguish whether it's just to be in proximity to someone he desperately envies or something else. When he subconsciously reaches out in a moment of vulnerability and she offers him genuine affection he's shaken because having grown up in an emotionally absent family Lotor has no real concept of what love, kindness or closeness really is. For the first time he feels truly conflicted as his feelings for her take on a new dimension that will inevitably only cause him more heartache in the future.
