If you look away and just turn your back on those you don't understand, you'll regret it someday. Accept what's happening before your eyes as a fact. That's a shortcut to becoming an adult, missy.
Ginoza Nobuchika, Psycho Pass
Wrong hair again. But okai. I still love it!
This was inspired by that One conversation they have at the start of Season 2
Even though I don't think this conversation would Really happen, they embody the sound so well. It first their story so good.
I also do these animatics for fun and in no way know what I'm doing :D
I loved that little conversation between Gino and Risa... 😢

@0hheytherebigbadwolf HELP!!
Every June this inevitably winds up back on my dash. And I appreciate that. And I will reblog it. Every time.
Hey, it’s @archerinventive, and the Pride Knights!
I'm absolutely in love with this dragon I just found but she's also a shifty thrift because I can't find her anywhere on the Internet and I find that incredibly amusing. Tag says Fao Scwartz, they made a solid blue version in the early 2000s but I see no documentation of a purple one existing except this one. I was just curious about the original retail price for shits and giggles but now I've uncovered a mystery. Who are you and where did you come from?

shifty mysteries
Oh I can answer this, that's my childhood plushie! I'm at my parents' house rn and she's on my bed at my apartment.
I have the purple one, too. She was supposed to be blue but according to a woman dressed like Barbie at FAO Schwarz in Chicago circa 2002, there was a dye lot issue with the fabric. I was so excited because I thought she was much prettier in purple. The name she originally came with was Theseus and I changed that immediately to Thessaly because there are no dragons in the Theseus myth.
The purple ones are extremely rare. They were only sold out of the Chicago store, if Barbie was telling me accurate info. The catalog entry- gosh I can remember it like it was yesterday- had both the blue and purple variants in one printing but i don't know if any of the purple ones were shipped, because I wanted the purple one, my parents ordered it, they sent blue, they knew I didn't want blue, parents called company, company said they only had those in Chicago, so we went to Chicago (we were going anyways for my birthday) and that's where I picked her up.
I'll post a pic of mine tomorrow, when I'm back home.
Wish I had a purple Thessaly! Please give them extra cuddles from this random stranfer on Tumblr!

Psycho-Pass Animate 2026
bro i LOVE indigenous fusion music i love it when indigenous people take traditional practices and language and apply them in new cool ways i love the slow decay and decolonisation of the modern music industry
I WILL !!! I WILL DO THAT
some of my favourite indigenous artists, in no particular order:
Inuit artists:
the jerry cans (esp their album Inuusiq)
beatrice deer
twin flames
Māori artists:
jordyn with a why
Indigenous australian artists:
tilly tjala thomas (i particularly love ngai yurlku nhiina)
kardajala kirridarra (srlsly check out ngajabu (Grandmother's Song))
i've also heard good things abt Baker Boy, but i haven't checked out his stuff yet
Another one for Inuit artists is Piqsiq! Two sisters who’ve been doing traditional throat singing since they were kids. They make some really gorgeous, eerie, atmospheric stuff. Highly recommend watching this video of them performing live a cappella using a looping machine, because they might be the coolest people on the planet actually
(Jo March nearly in tears voice) women,,,,
For anyone into North Asian and Central Asian folk music, there's this incredible Siberian folk-pop band called Otyken! The group is mostly women and they're from multiple indigenous groups in Siberia, with songs being sung in their range of different languages. They're so much fun and their music videos are amazing!
i'll go ahead and recommend The Halluci Nation (formerly known as A Tribe Called Red), an EDM group from First Nations Ontario that do really cool fusions of First Nations music with dubstep, moombahton, and hip hop.
I really really really appreciate people who share videos on posts like these, because almost without a doubt every time I love the music but I’ve never got the spoons to click on links and look through a bunch of music or worse google the artist I always end up too overwhelmed to start and I hate that
Haven't seen Belle Sisoski here yet so here we go: she's the current Artist of Year for BURO impact Awards. She's from Malaysia and knows how to play an insane amount of ethnic instruments and mixes them with her own voice. She does covers and her own songs, mixes ethnic instruments with Techno and shows the process. And she's also a live DJ at 19!
And one of her own:
Oh and of course there's also the HU and Bloodywood for people who like more rock and metal mixed in:
1876 is a Pow Wow punk rock band from Portland, Oregon
Alien Weaponry is an awesome Māori metal band
Darkaside is a Papuan metal band
Shepherds Reign is a Samoan metal band
Ts'msyen (pacific northwest coast) black metal
I also want to recommend King Stingray here! They describe their work as Yolŋu surf rock
Lenin Tamayo, Quechua pop singer.

Their Gino dp is so cute!

Hello! Worry not! I am very much alive! Here’s a panel of a comic in the works as proof ^
I apologize that I’ve made people worried with my absence. Truth is that I’ve been doing literally anything and everything not-art-related! It gave me time to reflect on what part I want art to play in my life, and I’ve realized it gives me the most joy as a hobby, not as a job with dreadful self-imposed deadlines and constant agonizing of what the next great comic idea needs to be. And I’m sure many artists feel that way. I’m thankful that I have the choice to pursue other aspirations, and I’ve taken that opportunity! Moving to a new country this year and fingers crossed I enroll in uni again!
So this means that I can create comics as a free-time hobby again, which I feel is now giving me that spark back. It’s an ongoing process, but I really-really like this new comic, and I hope you’ll enjoy it too when I post it!
