DMMd re:code appreciation post

shhhh my poor lil’ Sly T__T I love how dmmd re:code show that Desire is just a good boi with abandonment issues, who had been trying his best in his role to maintain ‘Aoba’s mental stability, but he was always seen by ‘Reason’ and ‘Restraint’ as a threat when they were younger. He surely deserves to be loved and validated more *group hug sly*
Also I love the fact that Mizuki has been the first person who acknowledged Sly for a long time since they first met. Mizuki knew that in spite of Sly’s rampage and hostility. Sly had some heavy burdens weight on his heart, the loneliness of being rejected by everyone, that’s why Mizuki continuously invited Aoba to join his team, so that he can take care of him as a part of family. He has alway cared for Sly for a very long time and Sly didn’t realize that until he got in Mizuki’s consciousness.
Both of Mizuki and Sly had the same abandonment issues, used rage and fight to fill the void in their hearts, that made them understand each other so well. I think this kind of dynamic is pretty sweet :3
Not to mention Mizuki’s deep concern for team and Sly is so powerful and strong, that even Sly’s intentional scrap can’t break him down!! (That totally shocked Sly and made him avoid talking with Mizuki, shutting himself in his room not eating for days.) Gosh there are so many scenes in this route I would love to talk about.
This route is my most favorite good ending of Dramatical Murder, because from now on Reason Aoba agreed to let Desire out when ever he want or need to, and Sly is now calm enough to know about time and place. Now Mizuki is the first person for him to let him be himself with. A true friend (or more than that afterwards)
It’s kinda sad not to see what’s going to happen after that, how Aoba tell Tae and Koujaku about his secondary personality and stuffs. Well, I understand that DMMd main story is about Reason Aoba, though. Sly is like Aoba’s problematic little brother from my pov, I hope he get more loves and affections from people around Aoba hereafter ^^
