. HOW is that ?? Well the human ear can only hear 20 TO 20,000 Hz && aside from the shock waves Shuhasu can produce with a sudden sound wave, She can create sounds below && above our hearing range. Many of which can effect our bodies.
INFRASOUND or sounds that are BELOW 20Hz are imperceptible to the human ear, but the body hears it, even if you are not aware of the bombardment. This infrasound can have a larger impact on ones body than you’d expect

If Mina where to produce a sound around 19 hz she could cause HALLUCINATIONS. Sounds around that frequency match the resonant frequency of the human eyeball.
At 12 Hz She can make the people around her sick
7 hz, the resonant frequency of the body’s organs. At high volumes, she can directly affect the human central nervous system, causing disorientation, anxiety, panic, bowel spasms, nausea, vomiting && eventually organ rupture or even death from prolonged exposure.
Sound waves at 0.5 to 8 Hz, Mina can fuck around with your lungs && make you breath erratically && quite literally shake your bones. Just by being exposed to this frequency she can damage your joints && cause visual impairment && nausea from a long term exposure.

FOR HER SHIKAI it’s pretty simple; she has to produce her own soundwaves with her WEAPON
&& she has no control over the widespread damage the sounds can cause
She has to lose some blood to activate it’s full power. Basically the more injured she is the quicker the activation && the stronger attacks but, the less time she has to use it. ( Stronger the attacks = less time)
BOTH SHIKAI && BANKAI:
Certain types of weather can MUFFLE/ REDIRECT her attacks (Rain, snow etc. && Zanpakutos like Hyourinmaru .)
