This is a sideblog! My main is @metro-mtp and any asks or messages should be sent there, if you have them. I try to be more organized here than on the main blog, so I have the following tags:
#fan art for... fan art (it'll also be tagged with whatever the art is of)
#wip for progress pics/unfinished work
#other stuff I made for original, non-fan art
#it me for the rare occasions I draw myself
#moved from main for things I originally posted to my primary blog
If you're here for my Legend of Zelda AU, see below:
working title: Let's Go Together!
What's it about?: Link lives a quiet, risk-free life in the countryside until a chance encounter with the obstinate headstrong Princess Zelda ends up taking him far outside his comfort zone. Zelda enlists Link's help in searching for the fabled Triforce, and sealing away the monsters that have mysteriously reappeared in Hyrule after many years. Little do they know, they aren't the only ones with an interest in the Triforce...
There are plenty of friends and discoveries to be made, but one question remains: can someone so cucco-hearted really be a hero?
What can I expect? Aiming for mixed slice-of-life/adventure, with a generally lighthearted tone. Canon-typical but cartoonish violence here and there. Some Zelink shipping if you're into that. Original Legend, not based on any specific game. This is my first real long-form project, so I'm just trying to learn and have fun with it :)
Why'd you pick that title? Well. It would be dangerous to go alone, wouldn't it?
Where can I find it? See the #go together au tag! Everything is in there, but for relevant art and comics, they'll also be linked here with periodic updates as I make em:

The only real difference between his default outfit and the other one is a few details, all for status reasons. He's well-dressed!
Gan doesn't use as many items as Link or Zelda, and doesn't feel the need to
The fire/ice magic typically manifests as balls of energy, but I would like to think he could also channel that energy through his trident in order to make a more powerful attack (how to draw that is another question that I'll figure out later)
Had the strangest dream where I was wandering through an office building and ran into Ganondorf who said: “Good morning. You should get to work, you have things to do.” And that’s when my alarm went off.
This was just a for-fun thing I made like 2 months ago and now that I look at it again, it's not too bad. Zelda took Link to get a blessing at a sacred spring and he’s feeling nervous 😐
Not gonna lie, I think I popped off a little with this one. I experimented with an airbrushed ink look in addition to the near-lineless approach I’ve been using for poster-style art, and I’m really pleased with the result! My shapes came out a lot cleaner and I had great fun adding in the details. Drawing the goofy little faces on the Tri fairies was my favorite :)
I initially started this little what-if story back in December when it was still actually snowing in my area… it’s now the middle of spring 😅
This is probably the first comic I’ve made that was more than two pages! During the process I learned much about how I might attempt longer-form comics, and also about how I might want to format the main story, which I’ve been feeling a little stuck on tbh. Perhaps the result isn’t perfect (I improvised a lot), but it was fun to make and I’d like to do more :)
I wanted to capture a little bit what it feels like for Link to venture out into a world full of unknowns and dangers with nothing but a sword. Pixels on a screen definitely give way to imagination while playing, which is part of the fun! Hard to believe the little guy has been doing this for four decades already...
Honestly I really enjoy drawing the randomest little side characters. Blossu’s questline was quite fun though, but kinda sad nobody wants to visit their house after all the spiderwebs cotton candy is gone…
How ridiculous of Link to ask Revali to a date right at the start of nesting season! He even brought flowers and a particularly shiny rock he found on the mountain! Who even taught him about that custom anyway?
Revali is going to grumble about this for the entirety of the date he excitedly begrudgingly agreed to
“Of course that’s a reasonable amount of time to wait for a claymore! You think they forge themselves? Not to mention I’ll need to get the ore for it myself…”
Rude people are the most annoying part of any business, maybe even more so when your line of work is weapons… it just makes Earless appreciate the nice customers even more
I want so badly to put King Rhoam into one of those tumblr ads with the dumbass king you have to save. But I am not capable of doing that. So you will all just have to imagine it for your meme today ❤️
