Self portrait 2025
Something I find super helpful when learning art is revisiting old pieces.
You look at them with fresh eyes and suddenly spot things you couldn’t see before.
It’s like your present self becomes the teacher of your past self.
For instance, I first did it in 2024. I came back to it in 2025—and bang! I saw that a lot of things were off.
My brain had new info, new skills, and now I could see things like angles, shadows, hard edges vs soft edges, the shapes, the proportions, the placement, and more.
Still learning, but this version is definitely closer to the result I would like to achieve.
If you label each version by year, you’ll see your growth.
When you’re self-taught, it’s easy to feel stuck.
But progress is happening, even if you do not notice it yet.
So, keep going!

There are no more barriers to cross
This confession. Has meant. Nothing.
"The House on Rails" is an indie videogame project that none asked for, and I'm working on since a couple of months. I hope to finish it one day, and that it will be awesome to see and play.
My daughter did ask me to draw Draculaura from "Monster high", that is her favorite character from one of the shows she like most.
Anton Chigurh studies 2025
Anton Chigurh (2025) For the first time since the beginning of my art journey, I'm brave enough to call this drawing "a finished piece" and not a "study".
I've recently rewatched the Netflix series "Dahmer" potrayed by Evan Peters, this is my tribute to the whole project, that I've loved.
