Jackaboy's Sister - Markiplier x Reader
Request: Could you do a Mark x Reader where the reader is Jacksepticeyeâs sister and you and Mark meet at a convention and start to flirt or kiss or something and Jack finds out and goes all over protective but ends in fluff.
A/N: I changed up the request a little, but kept the same general idea. I hope I did it justice!

â
Being the sister of the famous Jacksepticeye wasnât always the most fun or easy thing. It seemed like you barely had any privacy anymore. You were exposed. Whenever Sean wasnât filming, he was documenting the rest of his life through pictures or short videos, and more often than not you were in them.
You tried to stay out of the limelight as much as possible, especially in the beginning. Youâd put your Instagram profile on private, and you denied any requests from his fans adding you on Snapchat. But this just led to his fans complaining that you were anti-social and didnât care about Seanâs fans. Which was rubbish. You were so happy  about what his fans had done for him. Hell, if it werenât for them Sean probably never would have met his girlfriend, Signe.
But still, you wanted more. You didnât want to be just known as the sister of Jacksepticeye. A few times, new friends or even potential relationships of yours had turned out to be fans of his, just trying to get close to Sean. And this was one of the reasons that you were currently single. You werenât complaining! Youâre a strong woman, and you donât need anyone in your life romantically to make you feel better about yourself.
Sean, of course, no matter how many times you told him it was okay, felt personally responsible for your status as a single woman. And so he had offered multiple times to get you anything or do anything to make you feel better. Youâd rebuffed his attempts so many times, until eventually you gave in, and asked for him to take you along to PAX. It had been a while since you left the country, and youâd always wanted to visit the States, so this was the perfect opportunity.
So after a six and a half hour flight, with Sean paying for your ticket, you ended up in Boston. Despite being there for mostly sightseeing, you were also there to support your brother. And after stopping off at the hotel to drop off your bags, you, Sean, and Signe turned up at the venue for the people behind the event to let Sean know how things were going to go down.
After a mini tech rehearsal, you and Signe went backstage to talk to Sean and his friends. And amongst them, was Mark. Youâd met him a few times before, and spoken to him many more times. It started off as sending silly memes to each other, but then it evolved into proper conversations. You found out you had a lot in common, and it turned into text messages occurring almost every day. Occasionally the odd Skype call. And it was good to actually see him face to face again.
âHow are you doing Y/N?â Mark asked when you and Signe joined the group. You nodded, an indication that you were fine. Sean didnât know how you and Mark had gotten quite close over the past few months, and youâd decided to keep it that way. Despite Mark being one of Seanâs best friends, Sean was still really protective over you. So you didnât want to cause any unnecessary trouble.
The group continued to have a conversation, and you stood there, laughing along with every joke that was being made. And every so often, you and Mark would catch each otherâs eyes. You werenât entirely sure what you had, or where this was going, but you did like it. Whatever it was.
â
The panel was over. Both Seanâs, and Markâs. Youâd found both of them amusing, and now you were hanging backstage. Signe and Sean had gone out to get food along with the others, and that left just you and Mark. Except you had no clue where he was. Youâd been looking around for a while now, trying to find him.
After a while, you gave up, sitting down in a chair and taking a sip of water from a bottle one of the backstage people had given you. You took your phone out, ready to send a text to Mark to find out where he was, but then something caught your eye. It looked like someone was crawling around on the floor. After a few more minutes, you realised it was Mark. You stifled a laugh, what on earth was he doing?
You watched him for a while, highly amused. It looked as if he were reliving a Call of Duty mission or something. And it seemed as if he were talking to himself. You got up from your seat and walked over to where Mark had stopped behind a crate. You could still hear him. You walked around the side of the crate, and Mark instantly turned his head to look at you.
âJust making sure youâre okay over here.â You said with a grin. Mark reciprocated your smile, and you looked down, realising what he was doing. He was doing a livestream. It made sense. You didnât think Mark was going crazy. At least not yet. Thank goodness he was actually talking to real life people.
âIâm fine, Y/N.â Mark said, tilting his phone up so now you were in the cameras view. You gave a quick wave to the millions of fans that were probably watching him act like a fool. âCanât you see how fine I am?â He spoke again, lightly chuckling. You shook your head, the grin never fading from your face.
âYou know, I can tell. You look very fine.â You said. You almost immediately regretted what you said. What you said was supposed to be a compliment, but it had been a long while since youâd tried to flirt with anyone. And saying that in front of all Markâs fans probably wasnât the best idea. You felt very awkward. But Mark didnât seem fazed by what youâd said. At least, not in a bad way.
âWell you look very fine too, Y/N.â He replied. You were so very grateful that you hadnât blushed. Why did you feel so weird? Did you actually like Mark? Youâd suspected you may have feelings for him a few times. But due to the fact that Mark and Sean were friends, youâd pushed it down. And it had worked pretty well, up until now.
âOkay, well, Iâll be over there if you, uh, need anything.â You muttered, smiling a little before you walked back over to the chair youâd been sitting in. You sat down, putting your head in your hands. âWhat the hell was that, Y/N?â You asked yourself quietly. Oh look, now it was you who was talking to themselves. You sat like that for a while, until you heard someone call your name. You looked up to see Mark.
âOh, hey!â You said, standing up. âYou, um, finished your livestream then.â Thatâs it Y/N, state the obvious. Thatâs sure to ease the awkwardness that you created. Mark chuckled.
âYeah, I did.â He replied. âAnd, I just wanted to ask you something.â Was it just you, or did he seem nervous? âY/N, do you like me?â It took all of your energy to not run away from your embarrassment. You knew you shouldnât have said anything. You sighed and nodded, closing your eyes and preparing yourself for the inevitable rejection.
Except it never came.
âThank God.â Mark said, making you open your eyes again. You were confused. âBecause after all these months, I thought maybe you did, but also Iâm a terrible judge of character and Iâm the most oblivious person in the world usually. And Iâve liked you for a long time because youâre so beautiful and smart and funny, but I just didnât know what to do, y'know? I was scared youâd laugh at me and I-â
You cut him off by kissing him.
After he got over his initial surprise, he started to kiss you back. As your lips moved together, you couldnât help but smile. You were a lot less confused than you had been a few hours ago. At least now you knew where you stood. It was pretty clear what your relationship with him was now.
âWhat the fuck?â A new voice exclaimed. You knew exactly who it was. You and Mark pulled away from each other. You didnât open your eyes. Perhaps if you kept them closed, and wished hard enough, Sean would just go away. Just⌠keep your eyes squeezed shut, and maybeâŚ
âMark what the heck are you doing with my sister?â
No such luck.
You opened your eyes to see Sean standing a few feet away from you, Signe standing behind him, as if she were there to make sure he didnât do anything stupid.
âSean, I-â
âMark thatâs my baby sister!â Sean cut you off âMy sister! You canât just⌠kiss her! You canât do that!â
âBut Jack, I like her.â Mark said, trying to reason with his friend. âA lot. And I have for a while now.â
âSo why keep it a secret, huh?â Sean asked. You honestly couldnât tell if he was angry or shocked or what. His face wasnât really conveying anything to you.
âBecause we didnât know how you would react, Sean!â You said. âYouâre always going on about how you feel bad that I donât date anyone, and I was worried if you found out I liked your best friend you would freak! But canât you just be happy for us?â
Sean paused for a moment, looking away. You saw Signe whisper something in his ear, and he sighed before turning back to you and Mark. He took a few steps forward so he was directly in front of Mark.
âYou can be with her. Thatâs fine. If you make her happy, then itâs all good.â Sean said, sounding eerily calm. âBut if you ever hurt my sister. Ever. I will kill you. Understood?
Both your eyes and Markâs were wide. Youâd never seen this side of Sean before. But it was kind of sweet how much he cared. Mark nodded.
"Alright great!â Sean said, a grin suddenly appearing on his face. He started to walk away. âIâll talk to ya later buddy!â He called over his shoulder. Signe walked up to you quickly.
âIâm glad you finally admitted it. You werenât exactly subtle. Seanâs just oblivious.â She said with a chuckle. âIâll talk to you later, Y/N.â She winked before following after Sean.
A few moments of silence.
âSoâŚâ Mark said, clearing his throat. You looked at him. âSeanâs kinda overprotective, huh?â
You laughed.
A PAX Proposal - Jacksepticeye x Reader
Summary: Sean surprises you after his panel at PAX with an unexpected proposal.
A/N: Fluffity fluff fluff. I didnât use any specific gender pronouns.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 857
âOkay, so, thatâs all the time we have for questions today, and I wanna thank you all for coming out.â Sean spoke into the microphone, moving away from the podium, and walking to the front of the stage. You were watching him with a smile on your face. You were so proud of him. For the past few years, you had supported him, travelling with him to every event heâd been invited to, and sticking by him through thick and thin. He always told you how much he appreciated what you do for him. Hell, youâd even quit your job so you could move to Ireland to live with him. And youâd decided to make a career out of editing videos. Not just Seanâs videos, but other YouTuberâs as well.
âJust before I leave though, I have one more thing I need to say, or do. So, Y/N, can you come up here please?â Sean said, triggering screams from the audience. You looked up at him, surprise written all over your face. Youâd already been told that Mark wanted for you and Amy to go up on stage later for his panel, but you certainly hadnât been expecting Sean to call you up as well. You awkwardly stood up from your seat, sliding past Ethan to escape the row you had been seated in. With the help of security guards, you make your way up on to the stage, where Sean walks over to you with a smile.
âFor those of you that donât know, Y/N and I have been together for quite a while now.â Sean said, turning to look towards the audience. âAnd I know what you all must be thinking, how on earth do they put up with my obnoxious yelling and screaming? Well, theyâve been asked that question many times before, and the same answer is always given.â Sean handed you the microphone, for you to give your answer.
âWith immense difficulty, heâs very nearly unbearable.â You said, causing laughter to emerge from the audience. Sean made a sound of protest, joking of course, before he took the microphone back from you.
âAnyway⌠I donât think I, uh, talk about it enough, or tell you guys enough about this, but Y/N has been the most supporting partner I think I ever could have asked for.â Sean said, now facing you again. âAnd I honestly donât know what Iâd do without them.â He looked towards the audience. âYou guys have no idea how many times Y/N has actually rejected my attempts to be romantic, because I was supposed to be filming.â He put a hand on his hip, giving a fake exasperated look, before throwing his hand up in the air as if he were frustrated. âI mean, who does that?â The audience laughed again.
You were actually getting a little embarrassed. You were rarely ever in the limelight, and Sean didnât publicly acknowledge you often, respecting your privacy. And one of the questions currently going through your mind was âwhy is he doing this?â You had no clue where this was going, and hundreds of fans witnessing your confusion wasnât really helping.
âY/N already knew who I was, and what I did, when we first got together.â Sean continued his mini speech. âAnd they knew what would come with dating a YouTuber such as myself. Theyâve had their fair share of hate, which Iâve addressed in the past, and yet they still make sure that Iâm putting my channel, and you guys, above them, which is something I never asked for, or encouraged. But itâs absolutely insane that they understand how important you guys are, and how they make sure you get what you deserve.â
You spotted Mark walking onstage, walking up behind Sean. You grew even more confused. What was going on? Were they planning some sort of prank?
âY/N, youâve put up with so much shite because of me. And Iâm so grateful that I managed to find someone like you.â Sean ran a hand through his hair, a clear sign that he was feeling nervous. But what about? You were still completely oblivious. âI, uh, had to ask Wade how I was supposed to do this, as heâs got the most experience out of us when it comes to this sort of thing.â He continued. âAnd he said to just do what felt right, and so Iâm gonna skip the rest of the mushy stuff, and just say it.â
Mark, who was now standing next to Sean, handed his friend a small box, and you swore your heart had skipped a beat. Was this what you thought it was?
âY/N L/N.â Sean said, getting down on one knee and looking up at you. The sound of his fans screaming was near to deafening, and you could hear the sound of dozens of cameras starting to record. But you couldnât take your eyes off the green haired dork in front of you.
âI love you Y/N.â He said, opening up the box, and revealing a ring. Your breaths got shorter, all you could think was âoh shitâ.
âWill you marry me?â
