Saw a post about Japanese pre-release coverage of Harvest Moon 64 that had some cute art of the girls in winter wear I hadn't seen before, spurred me to do some Mary/Elli art of them in their respective gear.

So this SupperMarioBroth post about some Super Mario RPG Peach concept art crossed my dash, and it struck me as being extremely Slayers-y in art style (at least very early novels/season 1 anyway), to the point I joked that it was a half-step off from if Lina had gotten hold of the Super Crown, and, well. Sometimes you make jokes and get seized by art demons.

So I guess this makes a Linette.

It's rare that character concepts come to me in dreams, but when they do, I try and take them. This time my subconscious gave me Ted, a consistently Category 5 Himbo Event and his put-upon sister Robbie.

The dream's POV was from Robbie's, taking place inside some kind of post-winter-apocalypse mobile game. Her and some others had went out scavenging, and found Ted's car crashed, and after helping him recover from it, this exchange occurred:

Ted: Yeah, so remember how shoegaze was a thing a while ago? I was doin' that, but with my car - lookin' at my feet a bunch while I was drivin'. Robbie: …Ted, is that why we found you crashed out in a ditch? Ted: …uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

Then I woke up to pee and couldn't get back to sleep so I doobled them before I lost them.
