Sonny Bonoho has surely matured. He's got his head up, he's looking around and drawing from what he sees. The content captured within the lyrics and feelings behind the featured track The Vag, from Sonny'slatest EP also titled The Vag, showcase this man's ability to capture emotion and turn it to something beautiful. There are so many layers within the concept he's presenting you have to look, listen and watch for yourself. True art is a reflection of life, no two people are going to experience it the same like no two artists are going to paint the same picture. Sonny has a very colorful palette to work with, respect his picture and listen intently to his work, you'll find a story you didn't expect to be there...

I had to snag the colors for my city, SEATTLE! Yeah I still shout, 'SUPERSONICS' when OKC plays. Also round here we have changed OKC to Old King County. Sooo...we still have a team, hah!

So one of my dudes from Smokey Robotic, Konrad OldMoney, got on this remix to one of Santigold's tracks and gives a nice chill remix! I'm lovin it, I can sit back and lounge to this! Yo Konrad, I need you to start a soundcloud and load all your remixes/dj sets on that piece I'm sure I wouldn't be alone in subscribing to your music feed! OPB In-Studio Performance

TOPE is Anthony Anderson, Portland MC who started with Living Proof and released his first solo record, Until the Next Time We Meet, earlier this year. Almost simultaneously, his project TxE (TOPE, Epp and G_FORCE) released We Get It in True. Anderson is Portland born and raised, and you'll hear Portland places dropped in his raps, and as he tells it, also the jazz and soul records he heard at home growing up. We recorded TOPE upstairs at Mississippi Studios with his band. This four-song set begins with one we've been spinning on opbmusic: "Midnight," featuring singer Caitlin Cardier, while Calvin Valentine joins later for a closing version of "Life of the Party." I like the work he's been putting out. The last video I posted was a track titled, 'Come True' off Until The Next Time We Meet. The way he brought the song to life in the video speaks to Tope's level of creativity, and is a reason to keep your eyes peeled for what Tope brings us next.
