the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be a part of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.

V x Harpy!reader Headcannons!!
A/N: dude THANK YOU!! I was so worried that you wouldn't get it and I kinda messed up...also soso sorry this took so long even if it's the last few days school has kept me busy and I couldn't find the energy to write as much when I got home. However, I didn't go to school today nor do I go tommorow so I decided it was the perfect time to actually work on my drafts and requests!! You first of course since you've been waiting quite a while. Tbh I actually don't really like V that much. Which is weird because we have similar ideals and I (regretablly) find myself relating to him at times. I just can't find it in myself to like him idk why. But alas, I tried to not let my bias get in the way of this and I hope i did a good job!! Enjoy!!<33
Assuming V found you under normal (or as normal as it can get with a whole harpy) circumstances, I think he'd be very shocked but eventually attempt to take you in like you're an animal that needs rescue.
Assuming V found you in the server he'd be very shocked aswell and probably more curious about you as a whole, considering you are even more of an enigma than previously thought. Actually, you shouldn't exist at all in his knowledge.
As an extension to this, V thinks you are simply roleplaying or have an elaborate filter on. He only believes you once you two actually see eachother outside of the server for the first time. This guy will be absolutely shell-shocked lol.
Instantly interested in your more bird-like features and asks you about them every time you talk. He's curious to see how much you differ from an actual bird.
V reaserches nearly all there is to know about harpies in order to know how to care for you better.
Considering the animals he owns/has taken care of, V will sometimes treat you as one of them subconsiously. He forgets that, while you do have bird features and instincts, you are still part human. You do well to remind him of that though dw.
He is very concerned with how much you eat(due to harpies near insatianable hunger) and has tried to steer you away from that behavior . He semi-understands your harpy nature, yet he can't help being worried about you.
He insists on grooming your wings everytime they get a bit messy. Why else do you think he bought a bunch of feathercare stuff? Don't want him to? That's alright aswell. He will watch you do it though and ask questions about the process.

A/N: Hihi! I said I was gonna post a BEN x reader didn't I👀👀. This BEN will be characterized VERY differently from the BEN everyone is used to due to the fact I sat my happy ass down and did reaserch for the first time in my life!! (ironic how I do it for creepypasta and not for school...) And while I ADORE fanon BEN I wanted to make MY version of BEN. (P.S Keep these headcannons in mind for any future content involving BEN.)
BEN knows what love means/feels like to other people since he's a whole ass hivemind, but he doesn't know what it means/feels like for him.
(This is why it takes him FOREVER to realize he's actually in love with you until he sees someone hitting on you and realizes he absolutely hates it.)
BEN's way of loving is...unconventional to say the least...he's a network of souls and memories that he's never experienced. He'll test out different ways of flirting and courting until he finds a way that works for you.
He's canonically a very sadistic AI. While I don't believe he would take joy in causing you physical harm, I believe he would test you just a bit to make you uncomfortable. He wants to see you squirm for him and only him.
Someone harrassing you? Oh yeah they actually just died this morning. Real tragic stuff. What happened to them? Nothing you need to worry about! Just turn on your computer for a second, BEN wants to hang out with you.
BEN doesn't really have a concept of boundaries in a relationship. He sees you as his and he is yours aswell. He will not hesitate to bury himself into every crevace of your body, nor will he hesitate to watch you any time he wants. He finds it amusing when you do the same.
BEN does not think much of your body, after all he's seen many before. But he likes to press on your pulse or listen to your heartbeat. He likes hearing the life thrumming through you.
I think there’s this weird shift where we’re expecting children to be in adult spaces and just act like little adults. They made all the restaurants that used to be catered to families into weird corporate looking buildings (look at remodeled Macdonalds). And they’re pushing the internet and social media to be “child friendly” read ad friendly. It’s like using children as a scapegoat for why online needs to be safe for kids because they already took away spaces where kids could be safe and still be kids. It’s just making the problem of “kids don’t have anywhere to safely be kids” into everyone else’s problem instead of just fixing the problem. And the whole thing makes it a lot harder to be a parent because the internet isn’t safe. It’s probably one of the least safe places for a child to be. Why do children need to be able to be on the internet? Because there’s no where else they’re allowed to be. (And of course this whole thing is just a ruse to exert control over people)
