A collection of challenges...
For all those interested, here is my Wordpress blog where I'll do my long form challenge posts!
Some of the builds I feel good about in Hazebrook - the front of Osvald’s house (needs something in the front above the door, I think...) and Eeada’s back “garden”.
Osvald Fjalarson is the nicest Sim in Hazelbrook - everyone else just doesn’t know it yet. That axe and shield he has in his house are purely for decoration, parting gifts from his previous occupation. Now that he’s retired, Osvald enjoys long walks along the river bank and taking care of his chickens (both named Gollinkambi).
Eeada Ní Fearghuis and her daughter Aghna Ní Fearghuis blew into town one day and settled by the river bank, immediately cornering the market on fish.
This unassuming duo has a secret though - they’re on the run from the law! Eeada might’ve called her local lord a “hedge-born, mandrake mymmerkin” and Aghna might’ve set something valuable on fire... or someone.
Meet Morgan Harthind - local grump, forager, and secretly afraid of everything and anything aquatic. He refuses to bathe more than once a month, an aroma that only adds to his unpopularity. His favorite hobby? Sitting next to an open window so he can yell at anyone who wanders by.
(...There were supposed to be trees out that window. Many trees...)
The king and queen, in their wisdom and benevolence, sent Alaric Stiweard to rebuild Hazelbrook after a series of misfortunes made the area barren of Sim life - including, but not limited to, a massive flood, an out-of-control fire, a horde of unusually large rats, a vicious plague, a witch’s curse, and a nasty stench in the air that no one could find the source of.
Being the only settler, he’s gained some… eccentricities.
I’m actually really proud of this crappy castle I built for my new Medieval Charter Challenge. Haven’t thought of a name for this yet, but the village is called Hazelbrook.
Rascally Rabbits - Rabbit Hutch Redux
Not something that many people asked for but something I’ve been wanting to fix. The “first crafting station” was the original Rabbit Hutch. It was simple, it did it’s job and by today’s Sun&Moon standards it is super cheaty and basic. So I’ve updated it! And added onto it! Because that’s what we do here.
Required Files:
● @fireflowersims Easy Lot Check
●To Boldly Grow Garden Crops - Carrots
Read under cut/see the Keep post to learn how the station now functions!

Useful for my historical hoods and if I want my modern hoods to have pet bunnies!
When it comes to Deco, I have a clutter problem. If I can cover a sims bedside table in objects, I absolutely will. One of my absolute favourite CC items to use is @keoni-chan ‘s extracted Hobby Magazines. However they weren’t pulling from the in-game textures, and since I was going to do the BG magazines anyway, I thought I’d go ahead with the FT ones as well.
Free Time is required for the Hobby Magazine textures to work.
You’ll need the Arts Hobby Magazine for the mesh, also, I just edited Keoni’s original files, so you can only have one version of the FT magazines in your game at a time.

Had to reinstall. Lost my hoods. I'm consoling myself by saying this would be a great time to change defaults, organize, maybe start fresh...? I still have some screenshots I can post at least.
Juliet Bikker indulges in her favorite hobby - flower arrangements. It might be a little gauche to decorate one’s own home with one’s own labors, but Juliet is secretly determined to “accidentally” dump tea on the crotch of anyone who says so.
The Sims 2
Sityscapes, the sky
Hi y'all, an actual post for once!
Apparently my tooth infection is pretty bad, and Ive been quite low.
This is Derewynn Estate, a fine castle manor surrounded by lush farmland. It's based off a description of the Bastille and has at the moment a dry moat.
I had just built the fourth story and for some reason butterflies spawned on it. It was so pretty i just started taking pictures.
Kitchen Completer Set, Part 1
So, since I already shared my new wood textures here, I decided to add to the set with some extremely useful shelves and two refrigerators that I think go really well with the look of my rustic textures.
Firstly, we have Lama’s Medieval Pantry. As far as I know this has yet to be recolored by anyone other than the original creator, so I wanted to add to it, as this is a really unique looking object. I did all of the Rustic Woods, and may have also gone a bit overboard because I included Dark Cherry and some additional bonus recolors using old medieval and barn doors. I’m pretty satisfied with the results, and you can see the swatch above.
Next up I recolored the Shuffle Me Shelves by Fairywitch, and these I did in both Fine and Rustic Princess Woods. Better still, these shelves are slaved to the Craftmeister bookcase so any recolors you have of that will show up on these. Meshes are included of course, as Fairywitch is long retired.
Last but not least is Sim Addict’s Medieval Fridge. This had some issues, because it’s an old mesh. Firstly, it hadn’t been updated since Seasons, so I updated it for Freetime. Also, the bottom of the modern fridge was sticking out of the bottom, which I had never really noticed before until I recolored it. That has been made invisible, because who wants modern food for this one anyway? I have renamed the updated mesh, so please take out the old one if you want to use the new.
Download here and Enjoy :)
Elven Trait for TS2
Hey all! Look, I made a mod thing! So if it wasn’t obvious, I’m a dork who loves elves. While rebuilding my game, I was inspired by @midgethetree‘s lifestate mods, and I’ve been trying to teach myself BHAV coding anyway.
So I made a trait for elf sims!
Right now, it’s just the trait so doesn’t do anything (please, I encourage anyone more experienced than I to feel free). But I do have two ideas for upcoming mods.
You can find it in Misc > Misc like midge’s trait mods.
Download it on SFS here.

@hexagonal-bipyramid for their Traits Mod project and tutorials, @cedanyblee and @mortia-laura for the base icon background (so it’d match their medieval caste traits), and AlmightyHat for the elf ear icon.
Oooh I would love to see someone who could mod in some sort of immunity connection to this, eliminating sickness chances or allergies and such. Gotta have that high constitution buff!
It started with wanting to townify my Maxis shape clothes and it ended with me rebuilding my whole folder for MAXIMUM ORGANIZATION. ...I just don't do half measures, do I? 😉
