Trimmed down all the fan leaves last night to keep the humidity down while I start flushing. I did end up using my curved shears on accident and ended up clipping the stem of one of the Mystery MAC branches. But she looked healthy this morning, taped her up and I am keeping a close eye on her.

That being said my Lois Lane plant (calling her that bc she's most likely Kryptonite) is doing so well, the LST is really showing on her, got a real cannabonsai going here

Mystery (MAC) is the name I'm giving to this possible MAC girl. She's frosting up nicely, defoliating those larger leaves tonight while we transition to a mild flush for the next few weeks!

I'm considering getting a print done of some of these pictures. They're not huge buds by any means because I've had to dial down my lights from the full 150w since I couldn't get enough height. But I'm so proud that I've been able to cultivate some gorgeous flowers!

Even the lower buds are thriving in this girl. Budlets are starting to thicken up in week 4 here.

My state just legalized cannabis, I'm done with activism right?

WRONG;

Granted it is amazing that so many states are choosing to legalize, some even doing so without any voter initiatives (i.e. Illinois). But don't think that legalization is the end of the fight. Quite the contrary. One thing we've seen time and time again as states legalize is a few massive corporations form (or step into the new market) and start taking over the entire retail space, buying out small growers while using sub-brands to throw us off the trail.

The reason why this is so important to pay attention to is because it can make it REALLY HARD for smaller businesses to get into the legal market. Folks who have been cultivating cannabis for generations are basically left to scavenge over what licenses are left once the big corporations grab them all up.

So it is vital to the cannabis community that we don't settle with only legalization. We need to push for normalization as well. We need to reform our compliance laws to become attainable to the small time grower. Instead of regulating cannabis like a medication we could sell it for what it is, a plant, an agricultural product.

Still trying to figure out where to dry this stuff, from the looks of it my other plant is about 2 weeks behind in growth so it'll still be flowering when it's time to chop down the most mature girl. But this bagseed grow has taught me so much, this plant is so versitile, as a biomass and as a smokable product it's amazing!

Flower season is upon us in the garden, this strain is basically a mystery to me since both xof my plants were bagseeds, however they both look like the same genetics!

The grow tent has been a huge success and I only had to spend about $70 on lights and fans since I already had the shelving for a frame. Diy to the max

Here's a close up of that smaller plant. It's taking on some bonsai characteristics. Cannabis is so beautiful, it grows any way you want it to, it's a genetic being that's been so shaped by man that most people have never smoked a true landrace strain. It's a lot to absorb while I'm molding and growing up these plants. Without man here it would be such a simple bushy plant. But we've learned so many things from it and continue to.
