You used to be the city's resident superhero, but when you finally destroyed the last supervillain in the city, the people you used to protect decided they no longer needed you and began crying for your execution. Suddenly, you understand where all those supervillains you fought came from.

You could feel the power buzzing at your fingertips. How easy would it be to wipe out these crowds in one single blaze of fire, how easy would it be to label yourself the villain and burn this world to the ground. But no. These people were still the people who smiled and laughed and cried when you saved their loved ones, and you were still a hero.

Their lives and yours were just shaped in a way that become twisted in paranoia and fear, so that anything remotely scary could be labeled as a threat because in so many cases, it was one. You couldn't blame them. In another life, you'd be terrified enough to end up in that crowd too.

So you let them. And as the blade swings downwards, you just hope that one day such hatred wouldn't be needed as defence anymore, that life could just be lived without fear.

But today is not that day.

You grab the glowing sword, the sword once belonging to your paladin friend, your fingers tightening around its leather hilt, and begin tugging with all your might, with every bit of strength you have left with your body.

Come on, you think. People need to be saved. My friends need to be saved! Surely that's a selfless, worthy thought?!

But it doesn't even move an inch. You pull and you pull and you pull and yet nothing seems to work, it refuses you. It knows what you have done, what immoral decisions you made in split-second plans, and it rejects your very soul. Yet even knowing that, you still try.

Then a miracle happens.

It doesn't move. But instead, the so-called "unbreakable" blade shatters and you find yourself holding a broken sword. But whatever. Its tip is still sharp, and no with it chipped and crack, the edges become dangerous too. It is now no sword for the worthy. It's a sword for those willing to do whatever it takes to help. You feel a smirk tug at your lips.

This is going to be fun.

Oh is this for my epic musical thing? No, you don't need recording equipment or such, recordings on phone is more than enough! This is purely for fun for us fans! Either audio or video is okay, since anyways what I'm hoping for is just to make an entire cover of the musical and add tracks onto bandlab to publish! And ues the goal is just to make our own fan album, as you said, because in my extremely tired and vague words, "why not?" I hope this clarifies everything!
