One month and the realization that you were an asshole all along later, I’m doing okay.

We can miss people who were toxic towards us but not lose our identity in the nostalgia. I’m so much better off without you and this short-lived dip in my well-being was just a reminder to be always vigilante about self-care. Old habits can return if you’re not careful.
