Sometimes it is your fault.. Sometimes you don’t listen well enough, you’re selfish, you’re rude and you aren’t always right. Sometimes you fucked it up and tbh that’s okay. It happens, learn from it, apologize and keep it moving. Just because you fucked up doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. Don’t dwell on it

Today I turned 27 and I feel more lonely than ever. Sure, I have my friends and family, but it’s not the same as having someone to lay in bed with at night and to wake up to in the morning. My friends are getting married or have their own families now and I can’t help but feel like I’m being left behind.

I didn’t think this is where I’d be.

Today I turned 29 and I feel more at peace than ever.

I have amazing friends and family and each night when I lay down in bed, my cat and dog cuddle up beside me.

In the mornings when I wake up, I feel motivated and proud.

I am not being left behind. I am running full speed ahead, achieving my goals and creating the life I always dreamed of.

I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.
