My mind is absolutely blown away that people in my real life don't care enough that their posts and photos will be snatched by Meta and fed into AI. How come that people don't value their privacy and are happy that a company is going to train a machine with pictures of their families, art, memories and their posts about everything? 🤯🤯🤯

My partner and I cancelled our Adobe accounts today because of this. Imagine if makers of physical art media had the right to pilfer your sketchbooks because you used their pencils and paints. That’s basically what Adobe is trying to foist on everyone.

Adding tags from @plebeian2logist because this absolutely NEEDS to be spread, knowing what Adobe is doing is vital but just as much so is knowing what to do about it:

Cancel your Creative Cloud subscription as soon as you're able to. If you encounter any difficulty canceling it, document it (screenshot, screen record, whatever is necessary) and file a complaint with the FTC for unfair business practices.

This is so transparently about stealing customer data to use in AI training datasets, hoping people will click accept and it will go unnoticed. We need to not just tell Adobe what we think about this - unless we want more and more companies thinking they can get away with doing the same, we need to stop them in their tracks.

I feel like when rest is rejuvenated it’s still slower and not as complete as healthy people. Like using a micro usb instead of the faster usb c, and to top it off it stops working at 50%.

I'm so proud that I managed to grow chilly peppers with my little girl. So far all flowers which I had in past.... they sadly passed away.

Growing tomatoes and cactus as well! They still live as well! Whoop! Whoop!

I don't know how to explain to people that if they fail to show empathy to others, it will most likely not be shown to them. if you treat people like shit, they will not want to be around you, and you will end up feeling lonely and rejected. it's really not complicated and yet I know adults who cannot get that through their heads.

this includes mental health + neurodivergence btw and I know personally how hard a pill that is to swallow. your reasons for being a bad friend don't really matter to most people; the bottom line is when they turn to you for basic friend stuff like compassion or support and you snub them or lash out, they will not do it again and they will not show you any kindness in return. this is why therapy helps; learning to more easily navigate interpersonal relationships is a major therapeutic domain.

I feel sadness if a person has to lie to me instead of telling truth. Why to lie about something so trivial which I'm going to find out by myself anyway?

Interesting theme. Altough have to give myself a break and have to think what I've just read. A boy who, is failing at university. has vivid dreams and learned how to control them until his creature from dream becomes real and his life turns upside down. Will see what I say once I finish the book.

I have to say that in very long time I have enjoyed reading a series. Read through 5 books 7th Time Loop in a month. Can't wait for 6th book!
