open day at fine arts department / listahaskoli  it was so calm and the light was beautiful, not to mention the nicest view of the harbour trough their big big windows

the only way to get to this place in central iceland is with a special bus or a 4x4 car, on awful roads, crossing rivers and camping in a small campsite, often in rain, wind and cold. It was a tough experience but so beautiful. It is you vs. the infinity of mountains and sky.  I heard they are planning to build a hotel complex in Landmannalaugar. Try to imagine how this wild world will change forever, in a moment. stop this nonsense, please. noone should build in highlands.
