When a male has feelings for a female robot:

The people will barely blink an eye, and shrug.

When a female has feelings for a male robot:

"That bot will soon be scraps in the yard."

The female is severely questioned. Society views her as strange. You know it's bad when the robot asks her if she's okay. The human man couldn't be bothered. He looks at her and sees a pretty statue. Something to make him look good. He could care less about her. Why do you think she picked the robot in the first place?

The human male would view the robotic male as competition he'd never publicly admit to. It's all in the ego.

Obviously, not all guys are like this.

It's going to happen in the future. If it hasn't already started happening.

Also, if we look at it like this: A human has feelings for a robot who appears the same as them, gay and lesbian relationship basically, it'll be just as secretive, if not more so, than if it was two humans doing the same thing. Still viewed as questionable to public eye, unfortunately.

Also, if you want to use any of this as some kind of story inspiration, go ahead.

I was just curious, I'm following the site pretty closely and I haven't seen any announcements on the theme poll?? So I was wondering if this year the process of choosing themes went anyhow different!

I guessed it's smth smth with the anniversary, but I didn't see any news about not making a poll either... So if anything, it's not /neg, but I'm just curious how does this work this year and if I maybe just missed it!

Nevermoon story update!

Due to the recent Discord drama, Nevermoon and the Midnight Realm has been put on pause. The server dedicated to the series is in the process of moving away from Discord, to Fluxer! My focus is mainly there for now. It's been a stressful last few weeks. I'll drop an update in the future when everything is fully ready to go, and the story continues. every day I learn bot comments on ao3 are stooping lower and lower

anyway if you get a comment like this, chances are that they are bot and their goal is to do whatever it takes to get you to delete your work, most certainly (from what I’ve heard) it’s because they want to “safely” steal your work, use it to train their ai without you being able to rightfully claim ownership of your work since “there’s no proof that the work was stolen/was posted elsewhere first by you” because the original source has already been deleted.

THEY ARE ALL BOTS. at first it was “ao3 is deleting fics and your entire account will be affected unless you delete the fics yourself” then it was “this work contains contents that are illegal and they have already reported you and your fic to the police” (yes, that’s how desperate these bots are), and now it’s this.

report their comments to ao3 for spam—in this case, specifically, I think you may be able to report them for harassment too—and don’t pay attention to them, most importantly don’t delete your works, don’t feel discouraged by their comments. remember that they are bots and they mass comment something like this on people’s works at random to get people to delete their works. (or even if they’re not bot, they are still pathetic bullies who don’t deserve your time or attention.)

hello, i had a question due to the current trend where every social media become gen AI friendly (even art sites like Deviant art, Tumblr, Pixiv are allowing AI slop to be upload there) does this site is safe from gen AI ?

Art Fight is firmly against all forms of generative AI, including but not limited to: images, character designs, and text. Please see the following bullet point under Upload Rule #1:

The use of AI-generated images falls under our definition of art theft. AI may not be used to generate images anywhere on Art Fight, such as in characters images, attacks, profile decorations, banners, icons, backgrounds, etc., or in order to generate designs for characters. This includes using websites like Artbreeder, Midjourney, DALLE, Sora, etc. Additionally, we prohibit the use of any large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, for written content on site. Art Fight is firm in its anti-AI stance, and does not tolerate any content generated using generative AI.

2, It's the full moon tonight, and I went out to go snap pictures. Unfortunately, the light of the moon was too bright for my camera. So, I had to put a lens over it, which took some of the clarity. While it's not the best moon picture I've taken, I did managed to capture an airplane flying past. That was pretty cool.
