Fancy that! I was contacted by the HarperCollins book publishing company last week requesting permission to use one of my lorikeet photos on the front cover of a newly written novel!! I said yes, of course, and they’ve since paid me a handsome sum! The book will be released in March 2013! Don’t expect anything full size though… They sent through a draft of the front cover for me to view and there’s my lorikeet pic, tiny as, superimposed on other artwork !! Oh well, I’ll be buying the book anyway!

Beaudesert Anglican Church Debutante Ball - We had lots of fun taking photos for the ball. The girls looked absolutely glistening in white and the guys were stunning in their suits. Good job to the mums and dads too!!
The Beaudesert Fighting Cancer fundraiser event was on last night and we were there to capture all the red carpet and runway action. There were so many gorgeous outfits and everyone enjoyed the Hollywood theme! Make sure you check out the sensational male models who were modelling this year!!!! This is a page from the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra 2012 brochure. I took this photo in Kaikoura while I was travelling in New Zealand and it has subsequently sold through Getty Images to the graphic artist who designed the brochure. A few months ago, a major advertising company in London contacted me about purchasing my lorikeet photo which they found on my website. They said it was to be used for a new Sydney tourist attraction opening in September this year. This is the artwork they have designed which is promoting the new 4D cinema in the Sydney Tower Eye.
