RIchard Mosse. HEAVY MOFO
From the mouth of Dreems. It's a very long story this remix - but i will try and break it down (as quick as it takes to get through the breakdown in this remix - maybe a good time to recite this?) It was a polymorphous, post-apocalyptic, primordial, pinky-toe tapping process spanning across different continents, time zones, altitudes and production platforms including the guidance and wisdom of my close friends, peers and sonic brethren. When Jono first sent me the remixes for The Throw - a track that i had witnessed from birth to graduation onto the radio airwaves - i felt that there was a hole in the interpretations that others had taken it for (not to say anything less of them). I saw so much more in that piece of music. A body that was beautiful, violent, joyous, loose, and free from any available gentrification. I tried several time to capture this. Each time was a different approach using different elements that i saw as vital, important and key to the songs emotion. Eventually realising that none truly summed up how i felt about the music and inspired by the freedom that i was given - & largely due to my lack of delivery in time for an official release - i decided to skein them together and let the glue of my experiences alongside them do the rest of the work for me. What i ended up with was a tripartite that managed to capture what it was truly like to be a part of the band and their sonic wizardry both on stage and off. To travel, to laugh, to cry, to dance, to pun (endlessly), to beat what puts you down, to think the unthinkable whilst in McDonalds car park in Wales and all the other magic that comes with touring and brothering. Jagwars - salutations homies. Purchase on vinyl from here: http://bit.ly/1sJDfuQ

NO MORE ACID
I made some music for my friends over at Desert Designs for their debut show “Together, towards the water” at the MBFWA 2014.
They paid me in crystals and colourful underpants. Call me sometime and i can share them with you.
The psychedelic exoticism of Dreems’s debut single, beautifully reworked by Axel Boman, Thomash, and the resident Multi Culti production team. The expansive soundscapes kick off with Multi Culti’s extended dub of ‘We Shall Be Found,’ a meandering trip-out that strips back the original groove, adding layers of acid and percussion that stretch across 11-minutes of ego-less space. Axel Boman’s remix of ‘In The Desert’ follows up with rays of glowing warmth, building into an optimistic mid-tempo epic perfect for sunrise or sunset across earth-based dance floors. Finally, label-compatriot Thomash, resident of Brazil’s legendary Voodoohop parties, transforms ‘With Shackles On’ into a gentle, swaying, organic slow-burner anthem.

MC001 - OUT NOW
"This is the desert......and we're beginning a journey not in time but in your mind. Imagine the camels being loaded up & the men loading themselves up. Its a long journey - the oasis is all in the clamour. As we start from the top to go to the very bottom - A mysterious place, a very mysterious place. What's that i see ? The sun is setting, the moon is high.... because we travel by the stars - the stars never change. The sun may do this in a day, in fact it has to do this in a day or it really isn't a day, but the stars shall guide us tonight, across the great sea.......... The Desert. "
