Dance track with a little NES flavor.
one lone wolf, sitting on a hill see its breath burning, yet it stands still two more wolves, joining by the side everything is black, except six eyes three more wolves, entering the fold something's not right, your heart runs cold four more wolves, silently arrive you dare not move, you dare not hide ten more wolves, overwhelm the pack didn't mean to look away but upon looking back no more wolves sitting on the hill something is behind you, standing very still
Lyrics: When someone says, “How you doing?” I automatically lie, “I’m fine thanks” and then I try not to cry If change the subject then hopefully they’ll stop it I’m grinning and I’m nodding and I’m trying not to vomit Is it really a concern with my mental health or is it an opportunity to talk about yourself? I don’t really care it doesn’t have to make sense I’m just thinking someone else could be the captive audience Second guessing and filled with doubt, Everything considered we’re lucky that I left the house Walking down the street someone looked at me Immediately assume it’s about my sexuality or ethnicity what is wrong with me? Always on the defense without a law degree I didn’t win the award but an honorable mention for: “Getting Out Of Bed With Crippling Depression”
...upon leaving the club, a handsome older man invites you into a stretch limousine. You enter. The limousine lurches forward, moving much faster than you feel comfortable. Looking out the tinted window, you see that you are speeding along on a bridge above the ocean. The bridge feels like it is expanding even further as the limousine races on. In the far distance, you see a brilliant neon cityscape approaching, filled with impossibly tall skyscrapers and multicolored blinking lights. The man raises a glass to you, nods and offers a wicked smile. "Welcome to Silverfox City."
I love this song; I cannot explain this song. Created on the OP-1. This track is a free download.
All melodies and bass from a Nintendo Entertainment System via MIDINES. This track is a free download. I can't believe it; it's all in my mind.
The sound of a deafening void.

I got married in the past week. I am very excited about it. I was looking for something I already had, but now I found it. I wrote and recorded and mixed this song in 2 hours; the whole experience was like a fever dream. Thanks for your continued support of me as a musician/artist/gay person/human being.
We were going to ask nicely, but you resisted. Now we're not asking. This is a Forced Deal. The drone oppressively takes over the sonic landscape in this piece, similar to an aircraft drone used for killing. A glimmering melody line appears in the last half of the piece, like a flower through the concrete. Is it too late?
A hard dance track made with two Pocket Operators (PO-12 Rhythm & PO-24 Office). The Office machine features many samples from old technology, such as floppy disks, dot matrix printers, etc. This piece was sequenced live while adding effects and switching on the fly. Minimal editing and some volume touchups. This is a longer track, and I like to think of it as a kind of DJ set. Hopefully there is enough variety to keep things fresh. One of my favorite parts is the last kick drum pattern which then gets pitched down. That is the part where you can go absolutely crazy. If nothing exists, then nothing is something that can exist. This track is a free download. Please like, share, and leave a comment! ty <3
A car crash, a burglary, and a missing person. They are not coincidences; they were orchestrated. This is a Sly Deal. The opening is the sound of you being distracted by a disturbing image far in the distance, while operating a motor vehicle. And then you crash. The main melody line of this piece is a synthesizer with an infinite amount of delay. That means if not turned off, the note will sound indefinitely. When another note is played, the previous note’s delay continues, thereby adding to the previous sound, creating a new delay sound. So in this piece, the focus is not on the notes, but what happens in between them. The drum beat hits hard and in your face to intimidate you, and unexpectedly changes to confuse you. All of this to distract you from the conspiracy that is unfolding right before your eyes. This is a Sly Deal. ----------------------------------- This track is a free download! Thanks for listening! The OP-1 has an FM radio feature and I accidentally got this capture from a radio station. I have no idea what it was originally from. I composed and arranged the entire piece on the OP-1. The arrangement is a live performance of muting channels and adding effects. I reduced the bass in post-production, hopefully it doesn't kill your subwoofer. This is a really introspective and sad piece for me. ...what happened to me?
A storm is coming. An improvised track created with a baritone guitar and a DL-4 loop pedal.
A song about how the death of a loved one ultimately changes the way we see ourselves, for better and for worse. The first verse is about looking into a window, the second looks into a mirror. If you try to look at your own reflection in a window, you will see yourself, but you will see much of what is on the other side. Sometimes our self-identity can be so wrapped in others, that we mostly see ourselves in how they see us. If they leave, it can be like looking at ourselves in a window, with nothing on the other side. In the second verse, the narrator "sees himself" for the first time. This could be the voice of the deceased, connecting not from the outside, but through the narrator himself. I didn't realize this at the time, but the song actually mimics the lyrics, as the secondary background vocal only appears in the second verse, when the mirror appears. The vocals are even panned left and right, mirroring each other. The person who died could be another person, or it could be the spirit of the narrator that has died. The ending phrase could be intepreted to mean "I'm not okay with wasting my time, so I'm going to do something" or it could be interpreted to mean "I'm not okay. I am just wasting my time. I'm not going to do anything."
Wanted to make a battle rap. I had the battle, but I didn't have the rap! So I wrote a few lyrics and sampled myself and adjusted the voice. Funny story, I started this a few years ago and I realized that OKOKOK has the same rhythm. This is the first time that I've ever created a string section, which I am nervous and excited about. The end fades out with a VHS Tape styled effect. The track was done on the OP-1 and the string section was created in Ableton Live. "I'm really trying to say it in a way you can understand" "So bring it on, bring it on, bring it on!" "Now let me tell you something, you and your crew are nothing."
An improvised track about those final meandering days of summer. The loose timing of the baritone guitar floats and swims around the beat. Daydreaming, hoping, wondering, imagining. Recorded with a DL-4 loop pedal.
