Alright… its a comic book. They are structured completely differently than a movie. This is just shock value.

In the comics just now the red skull has the powers of Charles Xavier the most powerful telepath, and he also had the cosmic cube for a bit which lets you control reality. So it’s probably that.

But again this is comics, a place where a clone of a clone from an alternate dimension is a sentence that makes sense.

Movies most of the time the status quo stays the same. But in comics they change like the weather. Right now wolverine is dead but an alternate future version of his is alive, there are like 5 spidermen.

Again, comics do stuff like this all the time. It’s nothing new.
