“Just a bit, I try not to be one of those people who picks apart medical shows while watching but,” she smiled sheepishly, “I definitely am, even if it’s just picking it apart to myself. I ruin my own enjoyment of them.” She handed Mia a plate, take out on the counter of her small kitchen, “I’m better, definitely improved. Went back to work like two weeks ago but no overnights so far, I think I’m getting some pity points but I can’t complain about that.”
“Mm, see, I think I finally figured it out,” Mia responded, accepting the plate from her friend. “Medical shows are for lawyers and we get legal dramas. Cos I mean, I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want to see when I’m trying to relax and veg out is the inside of a hospital.” She nodded as the nurse spoke, a smile growing on her lips. “Keep it going as long as you can. Overnights are cruel and unusual punishment, I don’t know how you manage it. I was a monster during my residency.”
