Christmas Shopping // Open
Christmas shopping used to be a lot of fun. It was a time when the Black sisters would rush around, keeping secrets about what present they got who, and where they had hid them, and what color wrapping they had used, and whether or not they used magic to wrap it. It was a state of chaos and fairy lights and pine needles all over the floor that had to be picked up laboriously by the house elf.
Even in the later years when things were tense between the sisters, and Bellatrix was pulled away towards the Death Eaters, Christmas was a time of peace and joy for the Blacks.
But no more.
I chose to leave it behind, Andy had to keep reminding herself. Nostalgia and homesickness made it nearly impossible to walk through a single store, or past a single decoration, but she had to. She was determined to find presents for a few certain people....
