My cat survived FIP, he's 8 years old now, lost an eye but doing well. Finished my psych degree but now I'm working in vetmed. ... time really does fly!

I recently rewatched cyberverse (its one of my fav continuitys) and I realized I never posted these little doodles I had drawn during school. I know I've never really posted them, but I actually love cyberverse soundrod a lot. I really like cyberverse's takes on both of their personality. Its a breath of fresh air compared to long history of them getting very little attention personality and story wise. Also been kinda in a slump recently. Ngl I cant tell if its burnout or if I just need to yap about my ideas so that I actually try putting them into motion.

Damn Sounders who got you laughing like that? Anyways I started a doodle before getting derailed by witchwave, and some how its turned into me preparing to render an entire drawing. Im still working on more designs but I needed a little break/more rendering practice so enjoy this little teaser :)

So far in this au Soundwave is a witch (or wizard, warlock or smth else I just use witch cus its short). Rumble and Frenzy (and also flipsides if I feel like it) are his apprentices who he teaches and cares for while Ravage, Buzzsaw, and Laserbeak are more of familiars to him.

For his design I was previously playing around with the idea of a gramophone Soundwave for my other au (*cough cough* monster hunter Soundwave & vampire jazz au ((bare with me I still haven’t named it)) ). Anyways I decided to finally go ahead and come up with some concept art for a gramophone Soundwave. For his wand it’s a combination of the needle of the gramophone and the hand crank. I also added elements of those solar system models that you hang from the ceiling.

For this version of Soundwave he’s very sweet and enjoys teaching his apprentices. I also like the idea of him helping others with his magic and being somewhere of an archivists. I also think that he would probably travel around while teaching to show his apprentices all the cool stuff the world has to offer.

I had so much fun with this design and if I’m being honest it inspired two aus. First is a au where Soundwave is an adult with apprentices, and the other being one where he’s younger and in school for magic that way I can have an excuse to come up with a middle/high school au. this idea had me in such a choke hold these past couple days I completely forgot got to post the teaser for my other drawing so look out for that. I also would love more feedback and stuff because I think it’s really fun to see new ideas I hadn’t considered yet. Anyways I’m really happy how this turned out because I don’t usually render my doodles often also thanks for reading my long ass yap sesh if your reading this. I dont usually talk this much about my ideas and im realizing its actually kinda fun :)

Soundwave redesign for a au I havent come up with a concept for. My fav design is the one in the corner. I'll probably redraw that one in full since i really liked how it turned out and I ran out of space for the rest of it. My idea for this soundwave is a dependable mech that is known for being all over the place (physically (( like he runs around a lot putting out fires (((fires meaning problems))) )) ) and is well liked by the mechs around him. I also made his design softer (hence the puffy sleeves and rounder helm shape), because I felt like it fit the idea I was going for. Anyways would love some feedback on potential story ideas for this littles guy since he currently just exists. I also though he would probably fit well in an au with more comedic tones. Also buckle in and grab your ibeprofen cus Im officaily free from school and family stuff and now able to work on the stuff ive keep talking about (my fifty unfinished au's)

What do you see, Starscream? …This is super inspired by Soundwave’s original/g1 bio (shown below) 😮‍💨 and like how in Marvel G1 Soundwave kinda does have that friendly facade.. but Starscream tended to see him how he truly is whereas Megatron and Shockwave tended to blindly believe in Soundwave’s loyalty (but then even Starscream still had a little bit of a blind eye to Soundwave’s act a few times too)… I wish Soundwave having that affable surface yet opportunistic personality showed up more in continuities tho, it would be so interesting to see him like that again and more
