CONFESSION:

I LOVE playing a fem Ryder and romancing Suvi! Not only do I love Suvi as a character (I really connect with her interplay of faith and science) but the romance is so freaking cute!

So we had a mini ask time about what folks wanted to see in Suvi romance, and this piece is our attempt at depicting one of the headcanons by @alexisshepard. Wish we had a sweet moment like this :D

Some time (that isn't work related) off the ship would've been nice. Or a scene on the ship that ahem wasn't a general friendly one (I did not realise at first that the tea scene wasn't romance specific) tweaked to include a romantic version. I personally think a date to Voeld would be cute because of all those glowing rocks and snow, and the snuggles afterwards to warm back up again because it's fricking freezing there

It’s a shame there’s only one romance exclusivescene and no off ship moment besides that, in general.. well, that and theending scene. Voeld sounds like a good idea, even though it’d be super cold, maybeit’ll make them think of winter back home :) Also snuggles! I think that theycould use some cute hugs.

I'd love to see something with Suvi's romance where we take her to one of the cleared out vaults since she expressed an interest in seeing those or maybe even just a dropped line of Vetra letting Ryder know they're finding more earth tea for Suvi on Ryder's request and Ryder surprising Suvi with that.

She would’ve loved that ;_; It could’ve been a nicemini quest, too. And yeah, I always enjoy the idea of Ryder surprising Suviwith tea gift. You bet Suvi would love it. Also I like how Vetra would mentionabout it, I’m here for crew talking more about them!

I would have loved an opportunity to take Suvi off-ship somewhere on a date. She could do sciencey things, Ryder could knock rocks out of her hands before she puts them in her mouth, fun could be had by all.

Yeah, right? I wish Suvi got out of the shipsometimes. A date would’ve been a good opportunity for that. Like a datedisguised as a scientific research and Ryder tags along. Also, why not lickrocks together? XD

I really want more causal SuvixRyder. I felt their romance was a lot like Sam’s from the trilogy. It felt almost like an afterthought and could’ve been given so much more (The Citadel DLC gave us a bit more for Sam, thankfully.) It would be great to see them in their PJs on Eos chilling on top of the Tempest tracing out new constellations or just talking about the Milky Way after Ryder surprised Suvi with a box of her favorite tea because “I thought there weren’t any more!!”

Yeah:( I can’t say much for Sam but I feel like there was no improvement,contentwise. After years! I wish they cared more for lesbian characters. I loveSuvi’s romance so I can’t help being sad about unexplored potential. Plus wedidn’t get any dlc, so yeah…

But yes, I gotta say, I really like your idea. Thethought of them just chilling outside, on Tempest(I hope it’s safe, haha), lookingat stars and talking about their home(I guess Earth tea reminded both of themwhere they left..) makes me happy!

Since there wasn't much content in her romance, sadly, you must have a lot of thoughts about this! Maybe what happened after the infamous fadeout in the lab scene? >.> Or a casual date on Nexus? Or a cute scene with their doggo, Rabbit? There are many opportunities!
