Confessions will resume soon as my brother is recovering from some work related injuries

My brother works in casino security. He and his crew recently dealt with a 6 foot 7, 400 pound man under the influence of alcohol and some other substances and lets just say it didn't go well. (My bro is almost 6'1 and 190lbs) He ended up with 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung, broken finger and wrist and lots of bruises. The guy is in jail and facing a lot of charges though.

And let me just say its a pretty horrible experience when your bro in law bursts in your bedroom at 3AM letting you know your brother is in the ER. And watching my brother getting treated was pretty horrific.

CONFESSION:

Because of the obnoxiousness from some of the fandom, it took me a long time before I even liked Garrus. I just resented having Garrus pushed at me over and over and telling me all the other character romances were not valid. It got to the point I did a Garrus free playthrough in ME3. I recently finished the trilogy and kept him alive. I agree he makes a loyal friend but I will never romance him. Yes I know he is popular but there are a few of us who are not into him and how we play our game should should be respected. In other words, please leave me the hell alone, let me play the game my way and you play the game you want to and stop trying to convert people. Thank You.

CONFESSION:

I've come to believe that every alien squadmate in Mass Effect would be considered boring , hated or liked a lot less if they were human. Many people in the fandom seem to like the alien characters because they are alien and dislike the humans just for being humans. Whether a character is an alien or one of the so called 'boring' humans people love to hate, if they are evil and have done horrific things I'm going to hate them. I'm not going to automatically love alien characters just because they are not human.

CONFESSION:

For the most part, I enjoyed Andromeda despite the problems/flaws but there was a couple of quests that infuriated me, with one being "The Little Things that Matter". I thought Dr Kennedy was freaking selfish. I wanted to call her out and Addision out for kissing her friend's ass. If I ever do another playthrough, that will be quest I won't do.

I can't help comparing Cyberpunk 2077's Afterlife to the one in Mass Effect 2 and 3. Does that make Rogue the equivalent to Aria?

CONFESSION:

I am on my my bajillionth playthrough of the trilogy. I almost always romance Liara but I decided on a whim to romance Kaiden for the first time instead of leaving him on Virmire. I think I might be a little bit in love with Kaiden. Sorry Liara.

CONFESSION:

It was my first play through of ME2. I am delighted by the discovery that I can have pet fish in the captains room. So naturally, I buy the fish, look at them, then do missions.

Nearly the whole story is over when I decide to go back to the captains quarters. You can imagine my horror as I look upon my fish and see them floating.

I did not know you had to feed them regularly. I mourned that day.

I once had a spinning instructor play the lower level Afterlife music on a loop for the entire class. It was one of the most grueling classes I ever experienced and there was a moment I actually pictured Shepard using a bike on the Citadel and leading a class.

I’ve been watching a YouTuber play through mass effect 1. They are VERY thorough, no mission or planet left untouched. I heard a lot of ‘go, go, go!’ And ‘enemies are everywhere!’

Now when I hear someone say go more than once I really, really have to resist the urge to say ‘enemies are everywhere!’

CONFESSION

I am a gay man who loves mshenko and romance Kaidan every time I play trilogy, but I just realize that they don't have a chance to say "I love you" until the last sense when Shepard is gonna leave Kaidan, that's so sad and breaks my heart 😭

Because of Mass Effect 3, I always deplete the planets when I scan them in Mass Effect 2.

After all these years, killing Elnora is still one of my most favorite and satisfying moments when I play ME2. I hope the next game has some satisfying moments like this.

CONFESSION:

I honestly can't stand the Asari and I think their pride, arrogance and not wanting to change helped put the galaxy in the trajectory of the reapers but I really liked Liara's father Aethyta for wanting to change the system and get rid of old traditions. And I loved Aethyta's protective nature towards Liara.

I know it wastes bullets, but I've always loved shooting and breaking the glass windows in ME2 every chance I got.

Even after all these years when my Shepard enters the Afterlife on Omega, I always groove to that music. And after all these years it still sounds great.

CONFESSION:

I know most Mass Effect fans will hate this idea, but I really hope we get an MMORPG set in the Mass Effect universe one day, as long as it doesn't take development priority over any future main single-player games. Just imagine: We get to create our character from a selection of playable races (human, asari, turian, quarian, etc). Complete quests in different planets. Work together with other players to take down thresher maws. Decorate and upgrade our own apartments or even ships. I just think it would be a cool opportunity to explore more of the galaxy and its people away from the main plot line.
