My short film got nominated in the Free fall category, so I had the opportunity to go for the Limelight Awards yesterday. Such a great night, looking forward to next year :)

It's been a full on couple of months, got involved in some great events and there are more to come this summer!!

First up was Denis Watson's Book Launch for Mr. Snowy held at The Stratford Library. Such a great fun filled day, it was wonderful watching my sister from another mother have such a productive event! Can't wait for the next one.

Next up was The Cokers EP Launch at Epainos church Mile End. Took a few pictures for Shay's Sweetcakes and helped Usher during the event as well…got to enjoy some good company and good music.

After this was The Family weekend at Saddlers Wells which was so much fun!! Got to work at various spots and the time seemed to fly by, even got to watch the fantastic show Rapunzel by balletLORENT

Last but not least I got to film at the Support UK Gospel event which was fantastic, holding the camera when I just wanted to dance was hard. Great atmosphere too :)

In 2012 I was interviewed to be part of the very first Fi.ELD Collective. In July I pitched and got commissioned for my very first short film Sole Train. Two weeks ago I had the Advance Screening for Sole Train. And it was so encouraging to see everything come together. Everyone who came alongside me - Thank You! So… It’s Interesting That after a while I sit here contemplating That I’m back at this point Or rather I’m forward Having reached This frame of mind again I feel hope Rise Soft Whispry Weighing On my heart As my mind stands on guard It’s that time again Time to not give up again Be glad That I've got time This time Don’t know how long this will last...
