This is the shape of Ohio made from the numbers 4-1-9. 4-1-9 is the telephone area code of Toledo. Toledo is also known as the Glass City because of it’s long history of making glass and innovation in the glass industry. I wanted to represent that glass heritage in this piece as the background. 

As a wall hanging this will allow the color of your wall to come through or the buyer could also choose their own color by backing it with colored paper.

"Fresno" bandsaw box made from walnut and baltic birch plywood. The inside of the drawer and box is coated with black flocking. Finished with boiled linseed oil and polyurethane. The was made as a gift and given away. More info on my woodworking blog.
