Kids have a pure admiration for blue collar workers. Garbage truck drivers, construction workers, fire fighters, etc. They appreciate and respect these people more than grown ass adults do.

Cause kids see big trucks and machines and the awesome people that know how to use it. Their mentality is “Parents don’t let me play in dirt and this guys gets PAID to play in dirt”

And that’s a good thing. We need to hold on to that and foster it in kids. That all labor is valuable and that there is no shame in doing it.

This is taught OUT of kids. And thata the problem. Dont destroy or undermine the admiration for the diggers and garbage guys. Cuz they keep us goin! I’m always grateful to the guys in the garbage truck and the people working behind the orange barrels on the highway.

Like did y'all hear about this kid. Amazing. && Every person in a 30 ft radius does this really cute thing ppl do when they're excited for you and they're all like "oh have you seen episode 6 yet??" "Oh wait for this other thing you're gonna lose your mind!!" "Oh wow I can't wait for you to get to that part" like... Ppl really love to share. We love holding each other in this super innocuous way -- we guide each other along the same paths that brought us joy, and we say - welcome!! I'm so glad you came!! I can't wait to show you everything here. I can't wait until you catch up.

I texted my friend - baby yoda!! And you know what she's been texting me for an hour? How excited she is for me. FOR me, because I get to experience her favorite show for the first time. I love this passion. I love that we love when ppl experience our favorite things. The world is really warm, is all. Also. Baby yoda... Very small.

A fish trying not to get eaten wouldn’t slow down when the “predator” slows down. It also wouldn’t constantly swim in a circle near the edge of the tank; It’d try hiding. Also a fish in a tank in a a public place that is constantly filled with people is not likely to see people as predators.
