A true story of something that happened to me at a con a few years ago! I just couldn't believe that bag saldjaldjalkd!!!

Hey so, about your Umamusume post. As a friend of your who has both watched the anime and played the game (I don't anymore), I can confidently say that Umamusume isn't corporate slop nor does it fit the definition. The game took around four to five years to be fully made and produced before its launch, not exactly something that could've been pumped and dumped to the masses. Also, the designs story's and overall characterizations of the horse's all had to be pre approved by both the owners of the horse's and their previous trainers. A corporate slop game wouldn't have spent years working with the owners and trainers of the horse's to make sure that their portrayals were respectful and honest to the actual real horse counterparts. All this to say, you can totally hate the game all you want for being a gatcha game, but you can't call it corporate slop because it wasn't a quick, cheaply made game designed for the sol purpose of making money. It was a labor of love that took years to make and many fans of the anime and the game are open about the fact that it sucks that it's a pay to win gatcha game. Only a small minority of Umamusume fans will claim that it's perfect and without flaws, (not what I'm saying here). All this to say, criticize whatever it is that you like, but at least do the bare minimum of research to make sure your points and arguments are accurate. There's genuinely a lot to critique the game on, hell, even the anime, but none of your points make sense when you know even the basics as to just how much time, effort and passion was put into the making of the game and the anime.
