Hello and welcome! This account is curated by @romkodotcom and will be used for updates as well as auditions & applications to reserve characters in this project. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the question box and I will be sure to answer them! The server will be roleplayed and curated entirely by fans. I want to give a shot to DreamSMP as a server and see what season 2 could bring, WITHOUT the controversial creators on it! Characters will have auditions & applications sent out for them. One is out at the very moment! We're looking for c!Tubbo, and so far have Wilbur, Tommy, Dream, Niki, Schlatt, Purpled, Jack Manifold, and Eryn.

I just submitted an application! Is there an estimate for how long I'll need to wait to hear back?

For now, roles will be revealed as characters are added. Meaning, if there is a wave or just one new character announced, everyone who has submitted the application beforehand has been reviewed and final decisions have been made. New characters will be added when the timing feels right, so while it's not possible to give a very precise estimate, it should not take more than a few weeks!

may I ask what ur planning on doing with the c!technoblade character due to the creator, technoblade, passing?

Really good question!

I would first like to emphasize that the answer is something I thought about since the very beginning of this project, as he was an important aspect of the storyline for a lot of people.

Technoblade will be available as a character in this project. It would feel wrong to have everyone included BUT him, especially with such a brilliant character as his. There is a legacy that can be maintained by his fans, and this is something we've decided to take part in by including his character.

This being said, his shoes are a lot to fill, and that legacy is an important one to maintain. So, we will be VERY careful with who we pick to play his character. There will most likely be auditions held for his spot, and every application will be read through thoroughly, completed with a detailed background check, to make sure we pick the right person.

Thanks for the ask, (and no worries, you didn't sound rude!)

This will be a recorded/streamed roleplay of the DreamSMP characters, set in the new beginning following the events of a nuclear ending. It's meant to serve as a continuation to the story that was never finished, and never will be, due to the people within it. Essentially, it's like casting actors in a play or a show - but this time, it's in an improved Minecraft roleplay.

It will be set up similarly to the original DreamSMP in honor of the excitement that type of storytelling gave us. New characters will be introduced more and more over time, for which you can audition. Please keep in mind that not everyone will be accepted, which is why we're having auditions in the first place!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask :] So far we have a great team working behind this, and we've made a server to practice our skills on before the official one launches, everything's looking great! Stay tuned.

Hey! Sorry if this is a dumb ask! I was wondering how the audition process goes? Like hypothetically could I just send a message to you and ask to play a certain character (that isn't already taken) or?

Also this seems like a cool project! And im excited to see what you guys will do in the future :)

The process starts with you filling out the general character form, which was recently put out! A background check is made first and foremost, before we read through and decide which characters we may need. When we feel the time is right to add someone new, and if your form stands out, we will send out secondary applications. There is no real time range with how this will play out as there is no deadline, but we will try to let those who we're interested in adding know as soon as possible that they've been accepted into the secondary process!

We check the google form regularly, so no need to message us if you've applied unless you'd like to.

So far, the taken characters are; Jack Manifold, Schlatt, TommyInnit, Tubbo, Niki, Wilbur Soot, Eryn, Purpled, Tubbo, and Dream/DreamXD ! Outside of those, every other character that has been on the DreamSMP is open!
