Methods and Structures

Initially developed within the context of geometric animation on an architectural surface for "McLaren Wall to Wall".

"Methods and Structures" focuses on a juxtaposition of grid based geometric animation and a Britsh 1940s instructional film about the correct methods for brewing, storing and serving tea. In both cases the original content is organic but has been subjected to a series of ridged rules.

A few images from Amadeus, the video is the result of 2 weeks in the studio and 1 week on-site creating baroque style interiors through a mixture of collage and my own line drawings, to be projected onto the set.
