This past year I was inspired to photograph two things I love - the truly unique, talented and powerful women I'm lucky enough to call my friends and places around this beautiful state of ours that might not be there next week, much less forever. This is the first installment of hopefully many. We all change, our environment changes - this is one photographers way of capturing the here and now. Thank you so much to my amazing friend Catherine for answering my phone call and just saying yes - no questions asked. Thank you for sticking it out in the freezing wind (I was in a coat during this shoot) and being fearless no matter how crazy our backdrop. You are a true friend and I look forward to many more years of making the world a more interesting place together
