Edward takes the alchemist exam under the name Edward Armstrong. He’s confident he can pass the test on his own merits, but it’s his family’s lives on the line, so he takes every advantage. Being an Armstrong means every eye is on him from the beginning. 

That also means it’s not until after he’s been assigned to his unit that Mustang realizes his name is actually Edward Elric. 

“Like Hohenheim Elric?” he clarifies, something like horror in his eyes. 

Ed scoffs. “I didn’t sprout out of the fucking ground, did I? Now send me to Briggs before Ma gets into real trouble.”

Hi Joy! I was wondering if you've ever looked into kosher for passover items? They're generally made out of tapioca and potato products and because of passover restrictions they can't have any wheat or most other grains. If it sounds like something you might tolerate I recommend Yehuda's gluten-free matzo, it's quite good and many stores should be stocked up on them and other kosher for passover items this time of year.

My family used to keep kosher (dad was a kosher butcher and was raised by his Jewish granny) for passover so I am familiar with them, but sadly cause of the potato content (which can be a trigger food for some autoimmune stuff) it’s not really an option. Anything that’s pre-processed in any way is also generally going to be unsafe for me I’m afraid but thank you for the tip that might be useful to someone else!
