Part 3 of this.

They start 6th grade/middle school! While their sister starts daycare! Naturally both of them are very nervous about being in a school because they were homeschooled their entire lives in the past. And also because they're going to be around a lot of young kids.

I imagine this takes place in America idk, but Anyways the first day of school arrives, and they got into their classrooms.

And were immediately confused for girls because of their long hair. But at lunchtime they of course like children. Where bulled because of their long hair.

Of course they ignored it but then they mentioned their mother, because children are ASSHOLES. Ya the reader was called into the school office, and surprisingly the reader's older sister is the principal!

They haven't seen each other in a very long time because they were in foster care when they were younger.

PART 1 - PART 2 - PART 3

You were in tears as your beloved sons Michikatsu and Yoriichi started middle school, and their younger sister started daycare. They were all so big already and so independent.

And being in an empty house, it left you with a lot of things to do, like cleaning. Not that there was much of a mess; Michikatsu and Yoriichi were very clean and neat young boys and rarely made any messes, and if they did, they were smart enough to clean after themselves.

The house was clean, and you had already filled the fridge with all the ingredients and such that you would need for snacks and dinner time.

Having nothing better to do, you lay on the couch and decided to take a short nap... But your nap didn't last long, as your phone rang and you immediately picked it up.

Unknown number... You still took it because it could have been an emergency.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Michikatsu's and Yoriichi's mother speaking?"

"That would be me, yes." You nodded, and the man on the other side of the line sighed, "Your sons were in a fight..."

"What!?" You snapped and rushed to get your purse and put your shoes on. "Are they alright!?"

"Your sons are fine, but we need you here."

"I'll be there in 10 minutes!" And you were a woman of your word, quickly driving to the school and rushing into the Principal's waiting room... Where the boys were sitting by the door.

"Boys, are you alright!?" You cried as you immediately dropped down onto your knees before them, frantically checking them for any injuries.

"We're fine, mother," They both said nearly in perfect unison and after a short moment, you sighed and relaxed. They appeared unharmed. You stood up and looked at them.

"What happened?"

"We didn't start it." They said, "They were pulling our hair and calling us girls."

"So you punched them?" You asked, and they shook their heads. "No, we are above them."

"They hit you first!?"

"No," Yoriichi said, and Michikatsu frowned, "They said nasty things about you... So we taught them a lesson."

"Oh, my boys..." You felt like crying, so to stop yourself from doing so, you hugged both of them. "You're so sweet and kind... But you shouldn't hurt others."

"Don't worry, mother..." Michikatsu said, and Yoriichi nodded. "We didn't hurt them that badly..."

Did you even want to know?

The Principal's office door opened, and three boys with their parents made their way out of the room. As they saw you and your boys, they frowned and bowed their heads.

"Ah, pardon us, we heard that our boys have caused some trouble for you and your sons."

You blinked, stunned. Never had you met parents like them who took responsibility for their kids' naughty actions. You glanced at the boys who tried to hide behind their parents, but you caught them looking.

"It's okay, but I'm not the one you should apologize to." You said as you glanced at your twins, and the parents looked at their boys sternly, and they frowned as they reluctantly apologized.

"We accept your half-hearted apology." Michikatsu said, and Yoriichi added, "But don't speak in an ill manner about our mother ever again."

The bullies' parents looked shocked, hearing your boys talk in such a mature way, but after apologizing one more time, they turned to leave.

The Principal's office door opened again, and your name got called out. You glanced at your boys, and three of you stepped into the office.

And to your shock, you saw your older sister behind the chair, looking through some paperwork.

"Big sis?" You asked, and the twins glanced at you and then at the principal, not clearly believing their ears. You and their principal looked nothing alike.

"Lil sis," The principal nodded as she lifted her gaze from the papers before her and then smiled at you, "It's been a while."

"Way too long." You smiled as you rushed forward, and you both hugged. Michikatsu and Yoriichi glanced at each other and then at you and your sister.

"We have an auntie?" They asked, and you and your sister pulled apart from the hug, and she grinned at your boys, "And I have two nephews I wasn't aware of before today!"

"Ha ha, sorry about that!" You laughed as you pointed at your boys. "This is Michikatsu, the older twin, and this is his younger brother, Yoriichi!"

"I never knew they were related to you! What a coincidence!" Your sister chuckled and looked at you. "Your boys got into their first fight right off the bat, huh?"

"They were the victims!" You protested, "They only defended themselves and-!"

"Relax, I know." Your sister nodded. "There is surveillance footage of those other boys bullying your sons. Their classmates also told us that those bullies were especially targeting your sons."

"You got video footage?" You asked, and she nodded. "These cameras are the best thing I've ever made. Seeing the video made those bullies' parents quiet down before they could blame your kids."

"Ah, no wonder those parents were such yellow-bellies." You grinned. "You ripped them a new one, didn't you?"

"I sure as Hell did." Your sister grinned and looked at your boys. "Besides, there was no real fight. These two were dodging their punches and attacks like they knew how to fight."

Michikatsu and Yoriichi pressed their lips tighter together as they chose to keep their past lives and fights back then a secret. You looked at them, seeing right through them, but you chose to ignore the feeling in your gut and instead smiled at your sister.

"It's been a while since the last time we saw each other." You said, "Would you like to come and visit us this weekend over dinner? You could meet your niece also?"

"I even have a niece?" Your sister laughed, "You've been busy!"

"Not as busy as you, Miss Principal!" You laughed back at her. You made plans to meet, and your sister told you that you could take your boys home early, as the school day was already almost over and they weren't in any trouble.

You and your twins went and picked up their younger sister, and you were driving back home when Yoriichi asked, "Mother, we weren't aware you had a sister?"

"Yeah, ha ha, even I wasn't aware of that." You chuckled, much to their confusion. You quickly added, "We were in foster care and separated when we were small. I never knew where she was or what she was doing."

"That's... Sad...?" Yoriichi thought out loud, and you laughed, "A little, but thanks to you boys, I got to meet with my long-lost sister again!"

"We didn't do much..." Michikatsu said quietly, but you shook your head, "You boys have brought me nothing but joy when you popped into my life. I'm the happiest woman on Earth thanks to you two!"

"Mama?" Your little girl glanced at you from her safety seat, and you laughed, "I love you too, sweetheart! You have a special place in Mama's heart!"

"Mama!" Your daughter cheered. The boys glanced at each other, not really thinking of themselves as highly as you were, but you had also changed their lives for the better.

They loved you, and you obviously loved both of them... Equally, that's all they wanted.

You and your brother Gyomei had a rough start in life. Bad parents and bad living conditions- it was no wonder you ended up leaving your homes early, but fate brought you two half-siblings together.

You started attending Kimetsu Academy with your older brother as your homeroom teacher and now a legal guardian, and things were starting to look good.

Despite your rough start, you weren't a bad person. You were just hurt, and you understood that to protect yourself, you had to be tougher than anyone else... But there in Kimetsu Academy, with your first true friends ever, you were starting to heal.

Little did you know that you had a secret admirer... Who wasn't so secret, but you were not only rough but super tense and clueless.

Genya sighed as he once again failed to tell you how he felt about you. At first, you were a little wary of each other, but when he learned that your parents weren't any better than his shitty father, he felt like he understood you.

And those feelings of his started to grow, and soon he realized that he wanted to hold your hand sometimes just because he wondered what it would feel like.

Or maybe even go out with you, just you and him? There was this cat cafe he knew, and just like your older brother Gyomei, you had a soft spot for cats.

But whenever Genya tried to ask, his words would mix up, and he would end up making himself a fool in front of you. Not like you noticed. You could be so dense...

"Genya, is something wrong?" Tanjiro asked as he spotted his friend sulking.

"No..." The young Shinazugawa shook his head. "It's nothing..."

"Then if it's nothing, you don't have a problem telling us?" Came Zenitsu's voice, and Genya growled quietly, "It's... It's Himejima-sensei's younger sibling..."

"What about them?"

"I... I like them..." The young man confessed quietly, and his friends smiled brightly. "Congratulations! When are you going to tell them?"

"That's the thing...!" Genya groaned, "I've been trying, but I always fail!"

"Why not send them a love letter?" Tanjiro asked, and his friends glanced at him. "A letter?"

"Yeah! Tell them to meet you behind school after classes, and then you wait for them there, and when it's just the two of you, you confess!"

"I don't know..." Genya wasn't sold, but Inosuke smiled proudly, "I'll even help you, Genta!"

"It's Genya!" The young man snapped, followed by a groan, "I guess I could try your guys' way..."

All three friends of Genya cheered, and with their help, the four of them sneaked a letter to your shoe locker. Then, Genya went to the meeting spot behind the school and waited nervously.

He shifted his weight from one leg to another, many scenarios going through his mind, some good and some downright bad.

Then, finally, you arrived.

"Genya?" You blinked, confused to see him there, and the young man swallowed nervously, his face already burning.

"That would be me, yes..."

"Did you send me this letter?" You asked as you pulled the letter from your pocket, and he nodded, "I- I did...!"

"You know, I expected this sort of thing from Inosuke, but you, Genya of all people?" You wondered out loud, and much to the young man's confusion, "Huh?"

"You wanted to see me? As in, fight me?"

"WHAT!?" Genya snapped as he quickly made his way to you and you handed him the letter. The young man could feel his temper flare as he read the bad way Inosuke had requested your presence, as if he wanted to fight you.

Genya knew he shouldn't have let Inosuke write the message, and he should have at least checked the message before letting Zenitsu sneak it into your locker.

"I- I don't want to fight you!" Genya said as he grumbled the letter in his hands and stuffed it into his pocket, because he was not going to litter.

"Then why did you want to see me here?" You asked, and he blushed harder, to the point that his face was starting to hurt.

"I... I wanted to tell you something...!"

"Yeah? What is it?" You asked, "Are you confessing to me or something like that?"

Oh Gods. Genya pressed his lips tightly together as he nodded. You blinked. "Wait, seriously?"

He nodded again, and you stared at him before bursting out in laughter, "Ha ha, nice try, you aren't fooling me! Where are the other guys looking, expecting laughter out of my experience?"

"What?" Genya blinked, confused, and you grinned at him. "Like, this isn't the first time someone has done this to me! Now come on out, guys!"

One by one, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke popped out from their hideout, and you blinked, confused and stunned that they, out of all people you knew, were in on this.

"You guys were in this prank?" You scowled, "And I thought we were friends... Should have known better..."

"W- We are, but-!"

"Save it." You turned to leave, but before you took even one step, Genya rushed to grab your wrist.

"Wait!"

You turned to look at him, and he was startled by how... Sad and hurt you looked. Genya knew he had to fix this misunderstanding quickly, or he would lose you forever! He knew he had to be truthful, even if it scared him!

"This is no prank!" Genya snapped, "I am in love with you!"

"Knock it off..." You frowned, but he shook his head. "No, I won't! I've been trying to confess to you for days, and I'm not going to let this small misunderstanding ruin my confession!"

You blinked, stunned as you looked at Genya, and you straightened yourself, not on the move to leave anymore.

"You...? You really like me?"

"I do!"

"You... Love me?"

"I do!"

"And you were just trying to help?" You glanced at Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, who all nodded furiously.

"We're sorry!"

"We thought this was the best way for Genya to tell you how he felt!"

"We didn't mean anything bad!"

You swallowed as you turned to look at Genya, who looked more determined than you had ever seen him act before.

"You really love me?"

"I do!" He nodded, and your eyes widened... And then you averted your gaze, because the blush on your face was almost too painful to stand.

"I... No one has actually confessed to me..."

"I tried, I really did...!" The young Shinazugawa said, and you pouted for a second before finally getting enough courage to look at Genya again.

"Okay... I accept your feelings..."

"Y- You do?"

"Yeah..." You blushed again. "I've never actually dated anyone before... So I'm not really good at it..."

"M- Me neither!" Genya stuttered, "I mean, I never dated anyone before, but I'd love to date you!"

"...Okay..." You gave him a small nod, and your new boyfriend smiled... And his friends cheered for you guys.

"Congratulations!"

"Go, guys!"

"Wohoo!"

"Shut it!" You and Genya both snapped, then looked at each other and blushed. Young love, don't you agree?

You were in the middle of perfecting your makeup, aka curling your lashes, before carefully applying mascara. You were so focused that you nearly missed a knock at your room's door, and your brother Obanai stepped into your bedroom.

"Hey sis, I need to borrow your charger, mine won't work," He said, and you replied without taking your eyes off your mirror image, "It's by the bed."

"Thanks." Obanai went to pick up your charger when your phone, which was connected to said charger, peeped. He wasn't going to look at the message you got, but he accidentally saw it, and his heterochromic eyes widened as he read the message.

'I'll be waiting for you by the fountain'

"Sis?" Obanai called, trying to sound as relaxed as possible, and you replied, "Yes?"

"Where are you going?"

"Oh, I actually have a date!" You smiled, and your brother's soul almost shattered.

You, his beloved sister, had a date!? With who!? No matter who it was, they would never be good enough for you; this is what Obanai had decided.

"Oh… With whom?" He asked, "Is it someone I know?"

"No, his name is Michikatsu, and he is a real gentleman!" You smiled as you got your eyes done and proceeded to add lip gloss.

"How did you meet?" Your brother asked, and you smiled as you finished putting on your makeup and turned to look at the young man.

"Where are all these questions coming from?" You chuckled. "Are you being a little overprotective?"

"Tch, nonsense!" Obanai scoffed as he grabbed your charger and marched out of the room, but as he was leaving, he quickly added, "You better be back home by 8 pm!"

"Yes, yes," You laughed as you moved to pick up a dress you had picked for your date. As soon as your door shut, Obanai rushed to his room, plugged in your charger and his phone, and started to contact everyone he knew.

Obanai was silent and deadly like a snake, back in his earlier life as a Serpent Hashira, and he liked to think that nothing had changed when he was reborn in the modern world.

You had absolutely no training when it came to being invincible or sensing someone when you were being tailed.

"Oi, what are we doing here…?" Sanemi grunted as he peeked around the corner, where he, your brother, and their companions were hiding from you.

"Yeah, you said this was urgent and a matter of life and death!" Tengen complained, but quieted when Obanai hissed at him, "We are here to protect my sister…!"

"Protect her from what, exactly?"

"From the man by the fountain…!"

Sanemi and Tengen turned to look and saw you run up to a man… That they couldn't recognize. He was tall and had long, dark hair that was partly tied up, and he was wearing black pants and a purple shirt with a black tie.

"Who the Hell is that!?" Obanai hissed as he watched you hug the man, but before Sanemi or Tengen could reply, Obanai was already moving. "Follow them!"

The two men shared glances and followed after their friend as they stalked you and your date.

It was only three of them, as despite his best efforts to gather all the Hashiras, they had their own lives and couldn't join him, Sanemi and Tengen.

Kyojuro had to help his father and brother take care of their Dojo, Shinobu and Kanae had their own thing, and Muichiro had school. It was useless to call Gyomei over because he was so large that you would have spotted them right away.

Mitsuri, well, Obanai didn't want to drag her into this mess because he was pretty sure that his girlfriend would take your side on this. Giyu? Who the Hell knew? He didn't answer the phone.

While the three men followed you, you were talking with your date about how much you loved your brother and the friends you made through him.

This man, Michikatsu, or otherwise known as Kokushibo, was actually reborn into this life as well, like your brother and his companions, but it wasn't like you told him that. He had every Hashira memorized and remembered them even after death.

But you weren't a Hashira. Never had been. You were just you, a simple young woman who was almost painfully kind. Unlike many, you took a shine to Michikatsu and didn't actually fawn over his younger brother.

Maybe you were his salvation, what he would have needed in his past life to prevent him from turning into a Demon… You weren't there, but you were there now, and maybe that was for the best. He had a feeling that he would have only hurt you if you had been part of his previous life.

Speaking of his past and the Hashiras, he was fully aware that you were being tailed, but he chose not to mention this to you, as you seemed completely unaware of your brother and his friends following you two.

"Ah, sorry, I must be boring you…" You said, and he looked at you. "What makes you think that?"

"I don't know, I just… Rambling and such…" You looked away, and he stopped walking, thus making you stop also.

"Please," Michikatsu gave you a small smile as he reached for your hand and bowed down to kiss the back of it, "Please, tell me more? I'm dying to hear you talk about yourself and your interests."

"A- Am I not boring you?"

"You could never bore me." He smiled, and you blushed so hard, but the smile on your face could have lit up the moonless night sky.

While you were swooning over your date, Obanai was hissing; he was so pissed. What kind of move was that, to kiss his sister's hand like that!? What was that date of yours thinking!?

"This is boring," Tengen yawned, but Sanemi frowned as he observed your date from a distance.

"He looks kinda familiar…" He grumbled and glanced at the former Serpent Hashira. "What did you say his name was?"

"Michikatsu…!" Obanai replied, but the name said nothing to the former Wind Hashira.

The trio kept tailing you as you two walked, and things started to happen. You were going to cross a road, but there was a huge puddle right before you two.

"Careful," Michikatsu halted you before you could step into the puddle. You were about to thank him, but he effortlessly picked you up, carried you over the puddle, and put you down only when he was certain that your pretty shoes and feet wouldn't get wet.

An act that made your heart beat a little harder in your chest, and made Obanai furious, "That bastard put his hands on my sister…!"

"Dude, he helped her over a puddle. It's not like he groped her ass or anything," Tengen noted, but before any of them could react, they saw Gyomei and the Tokito twins walk towards you guys.

"What!? What are they doing there!?"

"Looks like Himejima is taking the Tokito twins home from school." Sanemi pointed out, and Obanai quickly motioned for them to hide.

"Oh, Gyomei, Muichiro, and Yuichiro!" You smiled as you saw your brother's friends approaching you guys. What a coincidence!

"Greetings, young lady." Gyomei greeted you, and the twins nodded as they stopped to talk with you guys.

"Nice to see you also!" You said as you looked at Michikatsu, "Dear, these three are my brother's friends! They are super nice and kind to me also."

"I see," Your date nodded as he looked at the three men and nodded, "It's a pleasure meeting you."

"Michikatsu and I are on a date!" You quickly added, and Gyomei smiled as he nodded. "How nice. Hopefully the two of you have a good time."

"Thank you," Michikatsu nodded with a small smile.

"Young lady is almost like a sister to us…" Muichiro and Yuichiro said, and you laughed lightly, not noticing the small hostility coming from the twins. "Thank you! I adore you guys!"

"That is very nice, indeed. I'd love to keep talking, but I'm afraid we must keep going. I made us a reservation at this Italian place down the road."

"Wait, really?" You were honestly confused, and he nodded with a small smile, "Yes."

"You didn't!?" You gasped, stunned, and Michikatsu smiled as he reached for you, tucked a strand of your hair from your face, and pushed it behind your ear.

"I remember you telling me that you were curious about that place, so I called in advance and asked them to reserve us a table."

"M- Michikatsu, you shouldn't have!" You were so stunned, and he was certainly winning boyfriend points.

"I hope I didn't upset you?" He asked, and you shook your head furiously.

"N- Not at all!" You gasped as you wrapped your arms around his and smiled at Gyomei and the twins. "I'll see you guys later! I'll tell Obanai that we saw each other!"

"Namu Amida Butsu…" Gyomei nodded. "Have fun."

You guys waved as you separated, you and your date going down the road while Gyomei and the twins headed the other way. Before they got far, Obanai rushed to them, Sanemi and Tengen right behind the Serpent Hashira.

"Oh, greetings, Iguro-san-!" Gyomei was greeting the men when Obanai hissed, "What happened!? What did he say!? Why was my sister clinging to him like that!?"

"Calm down," Yuichiro frowned, and Muichiro hummed, "They are going to eat at an Italian restaurant."

"That smug son of a-!" Your brother was furious, but Gyomei turned to address Sanemi, "Shinazugawa… That man, Michikatsu… He is the same as us."

"So he is reborn also?" The Wind Hashira asked, and the Stone one nodded, "He is."

"He is the former Upper Moon 1," Muichiro said, and that not only caught Obanai's attention but Sanemi's also.

"He killed my brother!" Sanemi growled, and Obanai joined him. "My sister is not dating a Demon!"

"Calm down-!" Gyomei was saying when Obanai turned to glare at the blind man, "How can you tell us to calm down!? He killed Tokito!"

"I'm aware…" Muichiro nodded. "But he felt… Different when we talked. Like he wasn't the person he was in his previous life."

"I don't like him." Yuichiro frowned, "He killed my brother."

"So we all agree," Obanai nodded, "Once my sister looks away, we grab him and throw him into the ocean!"

"Whoa, calm down, Iguro!" Tengen quickly interrupted, "I am all in when it comes to killing Demons…"

"But!?"

"There are no Demons in this era or time. They are human beings now, like you and me." Gyomei said, and the Serpent and Wind Hashira turned their glare on the blind man. "What are you saying!?"

"I'm saying, if they were born again, maybe they paid for their sins?"

"I agree with Himejima," Muichiro said, and the Hashiras couldn't believe what they were hearing… But then they remembered that they were staking you!

…But you were far gone already.

"Tch, if that Demon lays a finger on my sister-!" Obanai hissed, and Gyomei gently patted the man's head. "We will protect her. No matter what. Just trust us?"

Did he have any other choices?

Later that day, as the sun started to set, Obanai was looking outside from the window, waiting for you to return… And when you finally did, Michikatsu led you to the door, and you talked…!

"I had a wonderful time today, Michikatsu." You said happily, and he smiled as he gently rubbed your hand in his with his thumb, "I'm glad I could give you the date you deserve."

"You were such a gentleman," You said happily, and he nodded as he started to lean down, and the time seemed to stop around you as you expected a kiss-!

"Sis!" Obanai snapped as he slammed the front door open and called your name.

"O- Obanai!?" You gasped, "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"You're finally home!" He said as he rushed next to you and glared at your date, "So you're the Michikatsu I heard about…?"

"Pleasure meeting you." The man nodded as he offered his hand to your brother. He glared at the hand, but begrudgingly shook it.

"This is my brother Obanai! We ran into his friends today!" You said, and your date nodded, but then looked at the clock on his wrist and frowned. "It looks like I have to go now."

"Oh, what a shame!" Your brother said as he couldn't wait until he left, "Well, bye bye-!"

"Thank you, Michikatsu," You thanked the man one more time, and before anyone could realize, you stood on your tippy toes and kissed his cheek.

Both men's eyes widened, and you giggled in a giddy manner as you grabbed your brother and dragged him back into the house, but as you shut the front door, you waved at your date before it closed for good.

Michikatsu smiled as he gently touched his cheek and turned to head back home.

Meanwhile, you were in the clouds as you proceeded to tell your brother all about your date and how wonderful he had been to you. Obanai listened, like a good brother, but he did not like your date at all.

It would take more for that Demon to win his trust and even more to win you from him.
