Watching spanking videos, I notice three different hand motions used to administer a hand spanking. I'm wondering what people's preferences are out there - both givers and receivers. Is there a difference in the pain level with each stroke? For spankers: would you choose one or the other based on what the sub has said about his/her pain tolerance? I would call the three techniques the "(open-handed) smack," the "glancing blow" and the "cup".
With the "open-handed smack," the hand is used much like a paddle. The hand strikes the penitent's bottom full-on, often leaving a five-fingered handprint behind. This seems to me to be the one most likely to turn a bottom red quickly and allows for full coverage across the entire backside. This has been the technique I have used most frequently, IRL.
With the "glancing blow," the forearm is swung in an arc, downward from below the bottom, striking the bottom at the lowest point of the arc and then continuing upward and away. This, it seems, allows the hand to strike the middle or the lower half of the bottom closest to the external sexual organs, possibly producing greater sensation. I have used this only on occasion.
With the "cup," the spanker's hand is brought down on the spankee's bare bottom as with the open-handed smack but quickly withdrawn, partially cupping the flesh of the buttocks as it is brought back to the starting point above the behind, ready for the next stroke. I have never used this technique and am wondering if it has the lightest effect of the three techniques described.
What do you use (or like to have used on your bottom) and why? Thanks in advance. #spanking #hand-spanking #spanking-techniques
