~ • Hobbies: i do art! both traditional and digital, though i sometimes dabble with other mediums. i also work with theatre, both in the technical aspects and acting. also building stuff, i guess?

~ • Music: according to spotify, i like “steampunk actor dark cabaret”, so mainly Will Wood. i pretty much just like what i like, and my playlist is a jumbled mess of genres (except for pop, just not for me). musicals will also make up a large part of my listening!

~ • Current Interests: JEKYLL & HYDE!!! specifically The Glass Scientists and the J&H musical, though i have read the novella. also frankenstein. love frankenstein. my babies (the creature). and Hadestown!! will do more art for it at some point…

Re-draw of one of my first TGS drawings! The original was made in July of 2020.

I’m a few weeks late to the end of the comic (finals kept me way to busy to make anything for it sooner), but TGS has been such a huge inspiration for me and it single-handedly got me into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! I feel lucky that I was able to follow the comic for as many years as I did, I always looked forward to new pages on Mondays. Thank you Sage for creating something so special <3

Bonus: here’s some old drawings/comic-things from around the same time! I’d like to go back and maybe re-draw some of them as well.

Was listening to Gethsemane a lot during this, and throughout, thought about how it could apply to him, especially considering all the kinds of dynamics he holds to himself, from creator and creation which can extend to God and man. The illustration above is left for interpretation however.

The designs expand... I will take to drawing Enfield next, then a million scenes from the novella. I have genuinely considered adapting the entire work, as it stands on its own, into a webcomic.

I already saw a production of the Jekyll & Hyde musical earlier this year, but I’m honestly so into how they did the one I saw yesterday. The attention to detail was amazing — like Jekyll writing with his right hand and Hyde with his left! Its so fascinating see other actors playing my fav characters and I'd watch it over again if the tickets weren't sold out ughh. I couldn't take pictures at the end when applauding to the actors like last time cus the theatre doesn’t allow it but nvm haha. It was an awesomesauce evening! :DD
