My custom Young Xehanort doll based on his Kingdom Hearts Dark Road design. He looks a little angry but I promise he's nice.
So excited to show off my newest doll!
She was really an experiment and the only thing I had in mind when I started was the hair. Everything else just fell into place while I was working on her.
This is also my first time doing inset eyes and was probably the most difficult part of the doll
So finally, here's the project I've been working on for so long. Aigis from Persona 3! She was definitely a long project. As you can see in the last picture, I used an x-acto knife and Apoxie Sculpt to reshape her feet to look more like hers. I tried to make her look like she was looking to the side slightly, but she also ended up looking really sad in the process. Still, I love the way she turned out, especially the hair!
Here’s how the Hello Kitty clothing packs for Barbie fit on Monster High dolls (old body). They’re slightly baggy in the back, but it would be easy to just sew it in a little or add a snap if it bothers you. Very cute, I think I’ll be picking up the rest of the packs!
I just finished my newest custom and she has to be my favorite one yet! The whole idea was based on the yarn wefts I made from a very beautiful skein of yarn with all these different colors. I also love dark blue skintone, and tried to make the eyes resemble a galaxy theme. There is glitter and gloss on her eyes but the camera didn't really pick it up.
Here's Hatsune Miku! She's loosely based off her v4 design. I think I started her in November or December and for some reason it's just been a really long struggle to get her finished. But all the time paid off! I think next time I have to do a hair style with bangs, I would opt for a wig over rerooting, since it was really difficult to style the hair this way.
So I decided to repaint one of my first ever customs. I did her over a year ago and held onto her because I wasn’t quite happy with her.
I got C.A. Cupid secondhand and in very bad condition. Her hair was extremely greasy, her face was covered in purple ink stains, she was missing her upper limbs (I’ve now replaced every part except the left hand) and she only came with her earrings and dress.
The left picture was my first attempt a year ago, and the right and bottom pictures are my second attempt. It’s hard to tell in this lighting but I tried to do more subtle blushing and shading this time around, and I left everything matte. The pink heart actually covers up one the stains since there wasn’t any way to get it out.
I really think I’ve improved in the past year!
Here's my newest Lagoona! She was secondhand and in pretty bad condition so I figured she'd be perfect to experiment on. I tried some new techniques with the eyes and I think she's my best custom yet!
Here’s the first pictures of my newest doll, who I’ve decided to name Rutela, after the Zora Queen from Twilight Princess.
Overall I’m really happy with how the blushing turned out, though I might darken the eye makeup in the future.
Here's my latest custom! She actually has Draculaura's head. It's also hard to tell in the photos but her hair color is a mix of blue, pink, and cream, and her cheeks and lips have some shimmer. I'm really proud of this doll, she might be my favorite so far!
My custom Riju doll from Breath of the Wild. I've been wanting to make her since I first saw her design, and I finally finished her!
I made this robot doll a few months ago but I was never quite satisfied with her. A few days ago I put together that cute outfit in the first pic and I really think it completes her.
When there's no merch of your fave so you have to make your own.. I /did/ make his little cape thing but I ended up liking him better without it. The hair needs a little more styling, but he's done for now.
Here's my custom Cia at last! I actually finished her a couple months ago but just got around to taking pictures. She's not for sale at the moment, but that might change.
Seeing the before and after now, I’m really happy with the way she turned out! I tried to give her big eyes and simple makeup, and I think she looks really cute and youthful here, if not a little worried..
Well, I think I’m improving?
It’s hard to find decent lighting right now but I had to show off my newest custom. Obviously based off Yuki Nagato from “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.” I’m working on her sweater right now, but it’s difficult to get it to fit over her sleeves without looking bulky.
