A KIMBRA RANT

Upon browsing YouTube some time ago I stumbled upon a video that caught my attention. The thumbnail was a girl with very minimalist, flawless makeup staring at the camera with her head nudged to the right. Little did I know one click on that thumbnail would jump-start my affair with Kimbra. As I started watching the video (which already put a huge impression on me with the "Is the sweetheart you married the husband you expected him to be?" audio at the beginning) I was already intrigued and sorta nostalgic because I remembered hearing that song a year and a half ago. At that moment I found myself begging the higher purpose it never stops - unfortunately, it did. I was left thinking how great of a song that was and how the guy who was singing it was really talented (yeah, I can't distinguish a pee-pee from a... pagina? or whatever you kids call it these days).

So here I am enjoying that "I finally found the song that was stuck in my head" feeling (u no the one) and I start playing it over and over. Here's where my Kimbra relationship took a turn for the worse... My web search history was full of "kimbra" tags, I was googling her at least 20 times a day, I had the same song on repeat on my way to school, I was going through tumblr blogs that worship the almighty Kimbra. Here's where this blog comes in. This is a weird archive of all my Kimbralings. Thanks for reading. Oh yeah she has great songs other than "Settle Down". Bye.
