so sorry about the radio silence from us! we’ve actually decided that it will be better and less stressful for people to have ichiruki month during august, since we’re aware a lot of people have exams or other deadlines during may. to maximize participation and minimize the stress of the event the month will now officially be taking place in august! more details to be announced later, but look for the prompts circa june!

Orgs before: Even if you didn’t like the ending, we have to support the movie! This isn’t about ships! This is about our mutual love for Bleach and the chance for the last arc to be animated! We are one fandom! Don’t be salty, ichirukis!

Orgs now that IchiRuki’s been hyped: Where’s Orihime? She’s such an important character and she’s not there?! And… I mean… Ichigo and Rukia were never in a romantic relationship…  Orihime should be there, for romantic scenes! So others don’t misunderstand that Ichigo and Rukia. They’re best bros!…. You know what, if Orihime’s not in there we riot!

IR till the day I die.

Just dropped by to tell you that I miss my dear IR fandom. Hope you are all doing fine. I had a lot to deal with during the past few months. Some of you might remember that my cat, who's 17 years old now, got sick. Well, it got worse. He’s got terminal illness now. So I spent all my free time to make him feel comfortable for his remaining days. I don’t have the energy to be active on Tumblr. But... I am still IR to the core. I’m still disgusted by the ending of Bleach. And no, I will never support anything that has Kubo in it. This also includes the live action movie, sorry @ichiyuki :) No matter how cute the actors for Rukia and Ichigo look. If Rukia’s hair and eye color are not enough of a sign, the Grandfisher fight is a total warning for me that tells me to stay away from the movie. I’m not telling anyone not to watch or support the film, it’s not my place. This is just me. 

Oh, and thank God we have Sorachi. Gintama is a blessing. And if Sorachi who has mocked Inoue in his manga and also anime, didn’t mock the ending of Bleach (along with other mangas) with his “final fantasy”, then I don’t know anything lol! If you haven’t read the latest chapters, please do so, it’s just hilarious!

I don’t know if I’ll ever come back but know that I will always be an IR, nothing can or will change that. Thank you all who have written to me, mentioned me in their posts while I was away. Thank you for being you; creative, dedicated, witty and deliciously salty ;) I will always love this fandom. And I will definitely miss you, take care! *hugs*

On hiatus for now. An IR forever.

I need to concentrate on work and projects for a while. I will miss you all. I will miss IR. The amazing fictions and artworks. The salt and the wit. The will and passion to come back even stronger from the shittiest ending in manga history. 

I wanted to leave a fresh look before I go. My new header and avatar was drawn by my dear IRL friend @furiousflame as requested by another lovely friend @ichiyuki.
