Krile Baldesion from Final Fantasy XIV 🎨

The reference used can be found in the second Endwalker artbook. For this one I used a Strathmore Toned Tan sketch paper, 2B 0.5 mechanical pencil and Faber Castell SuperSoft colored pencils.

And yes, I can draw and paint traditionally.

In fact, I’m way more comfortable using traditional media than digital but I still need to improve the fundamentals on both 🥲 haha

Just finished 5.3 patch. Have no words.

A Ryne Waters study using a reference from the Shadowbringers artbook.

The goal here was to practice rendering because I’m quite bad at it and it can be very frustrating.

In my opinion this drawing needed way more time before it’s polished enough to be up to my standards but in order to be realistic I’m stopping at this stage.

From now on I’m gonna aim at doing a study on the weekends with no WIPs allowed to be carried over from a weekend to the following one because knowing myself and my workload, those WIPs will be added to the endless WIPs never finished and unfinished drawings won’t make me a better artist.

A study done is better than an idealized study that was never finished due to my perfectionism.
