Emmy’s pink hand shows how far prosthetics have come

Emmy Hoffman was fitted for her 3-D prosthetic hand by Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics in March. Since receiving the hand, Emmy has been practicing riding her bike and trying to hold objects — especially her favorite stuffed animals. For just a few hundred dollars, this prosthetic has changed Emmy’s demeanor and outlook too.

Disney Classics Reimagined As Tim Burton Films Are Delightfully Creepy

Tim Burton movies are my absolute favorite! So I was super excited to see this. 

One artist has recreated our beloved childhood classics with a dark twist and now we’re crossing our fingers for a demented Disney mashup we never knew we needed.

For his latest series, Andrew Tarusov, a Los Angeles-based illustrator, asked himself what his favorite Disney classics would look like if Tim Burton directed them. The results are as delightfully deranged as if they were drawn by Burton himself. (Source)
