This one started as a drawing in my sketchbook, and then she blossomed into a digital painting 🌸 Still on my lifelong quest to paint the roundest, chunkiest, most squishable roses.

Here is all of my Monster High Bee dolls together. I don't know why but I really love CAM Bee's design so much that it scratches a specific itch in me and having variations makes me happy.

I'm not much of a G2 collector but having lining these up really makes me want that small bee doll now hahah....

Create a Monster Bee Girl is one of my favourite Monster High dolls of all time so I've always wanted to do a boy version of her for my collection. However I didn't want to use Heath's head sculpt due to him having sculpted hair so I just kept the idea on the back burner until the inspiration hit me.

I got this stained Porter Geiss doll and while he is one of my favourite dolls too, I figured painting over his stains would be a good enough reason to work on my bee boy.

I rerooted him with black and blonde saran and had his hair curled up with pipecleaners for the longest time cuz curling saran takes awhile to do.

As for his face, I went with red eyes and some eye dots reminscent of a late 90s to early 2000s Barbie, as well as gave him compound eye pupils inspired by the CAM Bee girl's eyes.

I really wanted him to look different to Porter so I gave him sad eyebrows reminiscent of Rochelle's and blushed him so he would look sweet.

It's just a small project but one I really wanted to try doing so I'm really proud of him. I couldn't think of a fun bee name for him so I've just been calling him Bobbee...

this fit goes insane. matching the matte silver of the moroccan style bangles to the body chain and the aluminum crutches is a level of crip drip that didnt actually seem achievable to me prior to this photograph appearing on earth. and of course its a rick fit like that makes sense for this more than any other designer

Hey all! Sorry for the long absence, I had very long bout of bronchitis but I’ll hopefully be back to regular posts soon :)

For now, enjoy this g3 Twyla who’s (mostly) finished. This doll came to me second hand. So she was in pretty rough shape when I got her, but she’s come a long way. This dolls face is free handed and features glow in the dark eyes. Her shoes are repainted and come from scareadise Draculara. All her other clothes and accessories are from the original doll.

I grabbed a couple old 1/3 bodies from a mass collection purge on DOA before it closes. One is for my (also old) DoD event head, and the other will be for my DZ Haru rabbit head. It's possible they may need some TLC, but I love a project doll and I'm excited to have half of my floating heads finally bodied.
