BNHA Volume 42 wishlist (NO ILLEGAL LEAKS)
I started this list before the illegal leaks dropped and got discouraged from posting this because I was mostly avoiding fandom. I do not want any comments on this about how I'm right/wrong. I am waiting for the legal release which is 12/4 in Japan.
This is mainly my wishlist, though I added a few things I don't care much about but would like to see for other character development. I know most of these probably won't happen, but it's a wishlist!
Aizawa formally adopts Eri, who chooses not to be a hero and focuses on her interest in music (with Mic's help).
Hawks gets some kind of support item so he can fly again (whether he uses it or not, it's there)
Hawks gives Shoto PR coaching. May or may not be a bit manipulative with the Top 10 stats to help a Todoroki out.
An acknowledgement of the failure to understand AFO and a recognition that someone like him might appear again.
Garaki appearance and some reflection on all the unanswered questions about quirks.
Hawks and Endeavor finally talk PLEASE. Hawks tells Endeavor what he means to him. Endeavor tells Hawks he's his hero. (okay why not - Endeavor and Rei get divorced, Rei goes to the second house, Hawks moves in with Enji. There we go)
Endeavor regains the ability to walk and/or gets a prosthetic arm.
Toya funeral scene. Preferably with Natsuo.
Ochako and Hawks talk about Toga & Twice and Ochako's plans for mental health intervention. Hawks dedicates substantial funding to the program.
Shiketsu kids get an appearance. Inasa is in the Top 10 and is predictably annoying about it.
Ochako tells Deku how she feels. They are formally a couple (IMO this was obvious in 430 but I want to see her declare her feelings).
Deku keeps being a teacher and makes some acknowledgement of how heroic it can be.
Bakugo ends up with Fuyumi or Camie.
DO-NOT-WANTS for the final chapter:
More than three pages focusing on new students
Character resurrections/retconned survivals
Edgeshot magically back to normal
Hrksh continuing to dodge any kid ships
Some statement about Endeavor and Rei getting together again
A Top 10 of exclusively characters under 30
