Duke felt relieved when the officer said he didn't have any information on the murders. As long as nobody knew that the knives were missing the blonde was okay. "Fine, I won't even ask."

“the fuck are you grinning at?” jonah asked, his eyes looking around the area he was standing, a quarter drank bottle of vodka in his right hand. “y’know if you take a picture the shit will last longer, right?” 

“What the fuck do you think I was grinning at?” Duke said with a laugh, as he snached the bottle out of his hand. He took a big swig of the vodka, and made a face as it burned his throat. “It obviously wasn’t you if that’s what you were thinking, Jonah. Like, you’re hot but we both know that I’m hotter than you.”

Lily had been on her way to help (or direct) some of the other lifeguards with cleaning up the debris that had come onto the beach when she heard someone behind her. Turning around she almost jumped up out of her skin. “Oh my god. You don’t sneak up on someone like that. Especially in Murdertown USA.”
